Thanks George,
It was not meant to be a criticism - I appreciate that (most) people have day jobs!
It is great to have you looking out for me - more like a guardian angel than a phantom, I think!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Thanks Elsie,
Will have a look at your board. It does sound as if I am going to be very much at home there - retired in debt and barmy! I certainly fit that description!
Looking forward to that virtual cup of tea!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Thanks Pure Dead Dopey,
Not sure whether it is a Masterclass!
If it can be calld than, it is purely thanks to Niddy! I am a mere beginner - but rapidly learning!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
I tell you what. I have just come back from work and it sounds really wise to me.
I am so glad you are all talking, friends share and it makes life easier. Weather is stunning here.
I have put a pie and chips in the oven. I need comfort food to get me through weekdays. I finish at 12.15 tomorrow. I can't wait and then i have the rest of the day off. I have to go to a medical appointment but otherwise i have plenty of ironing to do!!!!

Enjoy your evening - even the ironing!
I envy the chips - am trying to watch my weight!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Hi Ann
Me too. I dont care. I deserve them!!! They are still cooking and smell gorgeous!
I hope the day has gone well, mine has. College was fine. You have so many friends! I have just read a post by Jim (he sounds very down) in a new thread. I think it is Norfolk Jim. We are so lucky. We are over the worst, it sounds like he is at the end of his tether. I hope he is ok. People have posted nice messages. I hope he sees them.

Hi Savingwannabe,
Will have a look at the other thread. I hope he gets the support he deserves - I often wonder how I would have coped if it had not been for the support I received - especially from you (and NID, of corse!)"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
I feel so happy that i have met you! I feel like i have a penpal and a dear friend!
You dont realise, i feel like i have a lovely friend and that is making all my work problems fade into the background.

What a lovely thing to say!
I think I have also made a friend - which I really value."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Hi everyone.... :hello::hello:
Just been reading about the dastardly Lowells
Ok, if they (or anyone) for that matter happens to ring you then you need to interrupt them (after passing security) and recite the following (at the bottom of the post), word for word - if this means you have to pause, then continue, but make sure you do it!
Just so you know, all outbound calls by banks and DCA's are recorded, therefore if you fail or refuse to answer security they will say whatever they like (be that rude or wrong) because recording does not take place until you have passed security and they have your details in front of them - however the moment you do pass security and they start to discuss the "account" (also recording at this point), you then recite the info at the bottom of the post, then hang up!
This is your legal right and you are utilising it, if they then continue to harass you we'll have em fined and put to task for breach of OFT Guidance and Protection from Harassment Act."I have on numerous occasions, informed you that I am unwilling to communicate by phone and also notified you that any of my phone numbers are to be removed from your systems. The frequency of calls received from you, and each call, has been recorded for independent adjudication, this call is also being recorded.
I hereby formally place you under notice, (section.7 Data Protection Act)and demand you take this verbal authority to cease with immediate effect, from calling me and also update your records to reflect my request to remove all telephone numbers listed.
This is your final warning - write to me."
Obviously you're not recording the call, but you need to convince them that you are!2010 - year of the troll
