Proliant, I'm aware of what subprime lending is.

Good, my post was not aimed at you in particular more so a general comment as their seems to be some delusion on this thread that Sygma are a 'Subprime' or 'Near prime' lender when in fact they are not. They have rate for risk products and as I stated in my previous post they might be more "lenient" on past credit history however they will not lend to you if your current credit status is poor.

I commented that I thought they were 'close' to subprime lending, which was intended as a less detailed summation of the sorts of comments you made in your opening paragraph.
    Ok.........
I wouldn't trust Wikipedia as a reference source, according to Wikipedia Burger King sell a 'crapper' burger.... ;)

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Can I just point out, sygma bank scores all cards the same, they are scored against the person on, as Proliant correctly states, a rate for risk basis.

This bollix about flybe scores higher it utter tosh! They are one brand, all scored against the individual. Put it this way, you can go apply for all sygma cards and have as much a chance with one, than the other!

Think about this...... i'm just sick of some of the BS flying about this thread lately. We have been doing this for years and no disrespect, but it is already factually proven to be the case. Sygma are a prime lender and their cards are all scored on a RATE FOR RISK based scoring model. The silver card and the flybe card are scored against the person, NOT each other!

And if a member of their supposed staff tells anyone otherwise please CHALLENGE it and demand a manger comes on the phone cos it is pure bull !!!!!!. That is a fact!

No offence to the newer users but we've spent hours upon hours (if not days/weeks) of researching - just cos you say "I was told by a CSO" means little, the CSO would not say such things - trust me! They'd get sacked if they even remotely discussed scoring techniques, plus they do not KNOW the scoring systems used - nobody does!

CAN I JUST POINT OUT ..i appealed my DECLINE with FLYBE ans SPOKE "DIRECTLY TO THERE UNDERWRITING DEPARTMENT" who at first told me due to being a sygma customer it must have been a computer error and shed put it through MAUALLY AND ID BE "ACCEPTED"

5 mins later shes on the phone mr such and such apoligies sir WHILST URE SCORE WAS "HIGH ENOUGH" FOR SYGMA SILVER "UNFORTUNATELY "FLYBE IS SCORED HIGHER" THATS WHY U CAN GET A SYGMA SILVER HOWEVER NOT A FLYBE

    Mate stop using caps.

I think you'll find the work and info I provide here is more factual to date than most of what you say. Don't take this the wrong way but you're wrong, i've PM'd a senior underwriter for Sygma to come and explain in detail for you.

I do not talk tosh, it just seems all this "weird" !!!!!! happens to you, a new user who uses caps all the time and thinks you know it all - we've spent years finding out this info - so no, you listen to me and stop being so bloody arrogant and SHOUTING ALL THE TIME!

Listen to what we tell you, you will actually learn things from it :)
