I use a recipe like the first one in Rikki's post. I use a little demerara in with the white sugar and I also use a bit of golden syrup. I always add chopped nuts and raisins to mine.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Absolutely Gingham Mine is an adaptation of one in Bernadine Lawrence's Feed Your Family on £5 a Day. I replace the marge with butter (much nicer
