Dr_D_D, those rissoles/crispbakes sound nice, was the chicken already cooked?? I'm guessing it must have been. How did they taste??
Just thinking you could try replacing the chicken with salmon or tuna another time, a bit like a fishcake - sorry, I like tampering with people's recipes :o

Hiya sarah (or is that Shaun the Sheep??) :D
I've just made the IPD roasted butternut squash soup today & it was deeeelicious!! I tampered with the recipe again (common theme emerging here :o) & added finely chopped leeks & a few small florets of cauliflower to the roasted squash & stock, simmered for about 30 minutes & then blended. I thought it was nicer than the original recipe (I've made it twice before), I had 2 bowl fulls, one after the other :o

Mercy, what can I say ...
your snowcat is bl00dy fantastic!! :T:T:T Love the seashell eyes & twiggy whiskers :D:D:D
Will have to show the kids, they'll love him too!!
Question is, is it Sherlock or Newton?? Or neither, just some random stray like mine?! :rotfl:

daisy, glad your hubby got home safe.
Your chicken pie sounds yummy as well, will have to give that a try.
I'm gonna watch that diet show, I love watching things like that so will see what they have to say.

Deffo a cat! Those ears aren't anything else but...

Great recipes here will have to write them down and try them. Thanks.
Had a burger and salad for evening meal whilst lunch was a lovely bowful of home made pea soup.

Got my own car back today so was a bit late with lunch, had to take a handful of nuts with me to keep the pangs at bay. Been drinking plenty of water and green tea. Just had a slurp of double cream and finished it off.

Food diary up to date so all is well in LC world with me.

Well able to blend in with his environment and predate on any unwary snow creatures :T

I kinda hope it freezes like a ring of Hell then I can see him tomorrow too

I really enjoyed making him :D Had great fun and have found that if you wear those thin vinyl gloves your hands don't get cold

Bring it on! MORE snow on my house! I want a menagerie :rotfl:

  • We haven't had any snow here at all so I'm quite envious of all the snow creatures. I should be back in the UK Friday night (weather permitting) so maybe I'll be able to play on Saturday if the snow's still around. Yay! And I'll be able to take back lots of quorn (freezer in back of car) which I love and can't get here. Hopefully that'll help get me going again.

I know! Snowcat cannot be mistaken! Without his whiskers he could be a corgi though......

Think you're right about the thread, last one was 5400 n summat. Last time though they let us know. Maybe 'improving the forums' has worked? We'll be directed I'm sure :D

My day out may be cancelled tho as its snowing in the Rhondda where my friends live icon9.gif

What a shock.. my friend just rung and said that her BG result is borderline high, and as she has a fat middle her doc said she is predisposed to diabetes, and, guess what, he told her to go......

Hi all - I did really well sticking to lc yesterday. I'd got rid of all the 'rubbish' stuff in the cupboards over xmas and then when I sat down to watch a bit of tv - hubby suddenly appeared with a packet of choc hobnobs that he had got for xmas and offered them to me - it'll be me on tv next for attacking him! Today's menu is yoghurt, chicken omelette and sausages with veg. I too have noticed that my skin has improved since doing lc. Could someone please pm me the excel sheet. Have a lovely snowy day.

Happy to provide it but you need to PM me your email, and give me an idea of your current weight and what you hope to reach and/or how long you'd like to plan for in order that I can make the graphs work.
