    Hello all

The 2 pound weight loss club was set up so that people can set themselves interim goals rather than being demotivated by the thought of having a large amount of weight to lose. Members aim to lose 2lbs each week, but there are no consequences if this isn't achieved - I won't bash anyone over the head, but Cheekymole will give you a boot up the bum if you want one!

I keep a chart with all the members, their weekly result and their weight loss so far, which I update and post every Monday (pm). If you attend a slimming class, just post your weight loss on whatever day you go and I'll pick it up for the next update. If you're going it alone, set Monday as your regular weigh in day and post your results and I'll include them.

No need to reveal your actual weight (unless you want to) and I don't need any evidence - there's no point in cheating, you'd only be cheating yourself!

The current chart is here. If you'd like to join, just let me know on this thread, or by PM or email.

Thanks Lois but the chart needs to be in this new thread otherwise you won't be able to update it so if you could edit the above thread and add the cart itself, I would be extremely grateful

    Hi All,

A nice new home for us for a little while.

Anyway lost 1/2lb last night but I'm really not giving this my best shot. Only 4 pounds in 4 weeks!

But it's better than on and I did say I wasn't in any hurry. So I reckon when we get to thread 107 I will still be going!

    Cheers

    Debs

Well done Debs, you're going in the right direction and that's all that matters.

Suggs - originally I was showing people's weight losses since joining the 2 pound club, however I think it needs to reflect the total since the person began trying to lose weight, so I'm going to show your total as 3 stone 4lbs.

  • Hello all, Thought I'd pop in and say hi as I've been reading the board for a few days now. I've been on the Slimming World (Body Optimise) plan for a few weeks with some mixed results and frankly this weeks weigh in was a disaster, although I cannot see why. I write everything down in the online diary, INCLUDING the bottle of wine I downed during the England match! The rest of the week I have been very good yet I put on 4lbs this week!So now my total weight loss over 4 weeks is 2lbs. I'm really very disappointed in this as I've been on SW (and WW) before and enjoyed success from the start, and am always disciplined. I've checked my food diary and cannot see where I'm going wrong - I had two great losses on my 2nd and 3rd week.I can't say I'm a particularly confident or positive person, but I will not give up and I intend to shift the 2.5 stone I want to lose. ....and now I've said it in public so I have to!
    Slimming World Started 06/06/07
    Week 1 +2lbs, Week 2 -5lbs, Week 3 -3lbs, Week 4 +4lbs, Week 5 -3lbs, Week 6 0lbs, Week 7 -1lb, Week 8 -5lbs, TOTAL LOSS -11lbs

    Hi Marj,
Welcome to our board and MSE, we love having new members.
Have you shown your food diary to your consultant, what does he/she say?
They always say that it's harder the 2nd time around too.
If you haven't shown your diary to your consultant maybe you would like to post your diary on here for us SWers to look at. If it's a while since you did SW, the plan may have changed slightly with you being aware.
Let us know what we can do fo you. You're in the right frame of mind which is always a good thing so well done

Hi, everyone, not been on for a while. I'm in my target range but have hit a plateau. I'm trying to eat different things this week to get it going again, I don't want three weeks on it! Perhaps it's the heat.

Not sure if you know but you are only allowed two slices of Nimble now as they have made the slices bigger, you can have two of Nimble white now as they have increased the fibre content.
