Couldn't have done with that.
I think id have been handing out a few headbutts if a choir decided it was a good idea to blast out a song early in the morning.0 -
That is a very nice villa. How much is the cost per week? I did see the price list, but it was for 2007. Is the cost still £300 - £350 per week?
That's still the prices yeah. It is a lovely villa, but that's probably why I'm a bit concerned - I've seen the price range in a good few other villas but most have been smaller so didn't know if it had something to do with the area.
Thanks LoriLouise, there will be a small group of us so don't think that will be a problem if it's quiet.

Hi,
My friend is going to Disneyworld Florida for 21 days and wants a 14 day pass/ticket. 2 adults and 1 child is going. is there any sites out there to search for the cheapest way to purchase??
any help would be great
thanx
The ticket you are after is a unique UK ticket not available to buy in the US. If you wanted a US ticket I could point you to https://www.touringplans.com and the cheapest ticket checker
I woudl suggest you try places like https://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk who price match and just do a search around Google for Disney 14 Day Ultimate ticket

Tony - We have been 3 times and always got a Villa, with pool heat. It gives you a lot of freedom to relax, spend days/half-days/evenings by the pool (you will want to take days off), you can eat what you want when you want, don't have to worry about finding a nice place to eat at the end of a busy day, can stack the fridge full of beer, get all your washing done - and of course going shopping in Walmart is an adventure all of its own. We normally go in April and the weather is usually warm but not too hot. Just be aware that if it is easter holidays, the parks will be a LOT busier
edit: When we have done it, is has normally been a group of 9 (2 grandparents, 4 children/OH, 3 Grand children)0 -
Hiya,
Just beginning to plan my next Florida trip (yay!) for next year and been quoted a really great price for a villa in Glenbrook. Just a quick question regarding the area - I've always stayed at the other side of kissimee and was wondering if anyone has stayed in Glenbrook and/or this villa (although that might be pushing it!) Villa is called Villa Fantasia, and the website for it is www. villafantasiaorlando. co.uk.
Any information would be great, and thanks for all the tips I've already got from here, you're all great!
Debbie
Hi Debbie
Glenbrook is really in South Clermont and its about 5 or so miles from where I life. Its a nice commnity and the location is pretty good indeed. I would suggest that anyway who has the choice of north 27 (i.e. north of the 192 junction) or south picks the north.
There are some good places to eat near by and a bran new Sweetbay supermarket right next door.
You are about 15 mins from the AK from there and you can also head north on tthe 27 to some less crowded stores like Kohls, JC Pennys and a better Walmartt. There is also a new cinerman cmplex opening north of you about now in Clermont Lnadings.
BUT at the end of the day its all about what the villa is like! If it has all you want with rooms and ammenities and pool etc then go for it. There are 1000s of villas out there and some great locations and prices so have a good look around

Was thinking of booking the pirate league for our DS but was wondering is there any way you can book it at Disney without phoning, we only have a 6 day MYW ticket and will only be visiting MK twice, but haven't decided when yet and don't really want to be tied to a certain day
Thanks
You can try on the day to see if its free, you just ask at City Hall (as you enter its the white building on the left) if they have any walk ups.
But you are best to call really, Do you not know what day you are going to MK?Self confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

All
I was looking over the many previous threads and wanted to just updated the car hire suggestions if I may.....
One thing to make sure when hiring a car for me is where is the car hire company located. So I something fly into Tampa rather than Orlando as its cheaper and only about 25 mins further away but not all car hire companies are on the airport site, some are off site which is a pain. I check the airports web site now to see.
Anyway, although we have a car over in America people that stay with us often hire one and I teneded to use https://www.yescarhire.com or https://www.usrentacar.com as my main ones
But search around as I found a new couple of sites which were MUCH cheaper than those above.
http://www.carhire3000.com/
http://www.carhireflorida.net/
The last one being the cheapest

Hello poeple, was wondering what your thoughts are in respect of minimum car insurance needed in florida.
There 9 of us going and we will be doing 1x minivan (7 seater) 1x car because most have been before and will be doing different things this time (ive been 5 times,( 3 without car 2 with)
I have always just opted for the Platinum or gold insurance, peice of mind etc. Am i paying for the tank of fuel and not much else or is this a better option.
3 of us will be driving each vehicle at some point so we will need extra driver on insurance.
TIA .0 -

Hi
You need to have as a min the CDW and the SI cover. These are a must. And to be fair most of the brokers suggested here if not all of them include these. The platinum or gold then allow you the freedom to cover more drivers and the tank of fuel.
The fuel is a moot point really, if you remember to fill up near to the airport its OK bit at the airport its like 20 poercent more at the airport gas station then elsewhere so its probably worth it so its one less thing to worry about when you return the car.

Personal opinion mind but i feel the Platinum insurance is only worth it for the extra drivers as the charges for that can be excessive. The tank of fuel is an added bonus.0
