    I ate some pringles.....

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry. It made me laugh the way you added it as a wee, quiet, 'by the by' afterthought.

Nice to see all you ladies are mostly OT and being good. I read every day just to keep my hand in but the faded pringles comment made me laugh and I just had to.....well....laugh.:rotfl:

Back from town, I'm a 36E  They don't look that big to me?

Totally narked off, I noticed a neon pink vest top I just bought 2 weeks ago had a black mark on it and it didn't come out in the wash, so I slapped a bit of vanish on, like the tub says, stick it in the washer, take it out and it's totally sucked the colour out from that area and now looks white and the black mark isn't gone. So now it's unwearable except for as pyjamas, and I'll need to go buy another one now (I do like it)

Should I complain to vanish? The top was only £8 but it's the goddamn principal and I'm sick of having to shell out for new clothes! BAH!!!

That is soo sneaky, i almost didnt spot it :rotfl:

I would e-mail them if you can, is much easier. May as well give it a go.

Thing is there is no part on a thin NEON vest that you could try it on without it being noticeable, same goes for all clothes really!

Hehehe, It wasn't a whole packet, it was just a handful or 5, twas those little select ones, so REALLY they don't count because you can swallow them whole and the stomach has to work twice as hard to digest them = more calories burnt. I'm positively in the negative!

Sent them a lovely email saying how dissapointed I was with their product and how I'm scared to use it again so I'm now £8 pound out of pocket for the vest and £7 out of pocket for the useless big tub of vanish I have (that's a lie because I will use it on the whites :p) I'll have a big jumbo cheque please - more like a big fat coupon off for more vanish!

So what's everyone having for dinner? I don't have a clue and have taken nothing out :) Takeaway? ..... don't fret, I won't but only because I had to go and buy OH's Rockness ticket, goodbye £156.40! Honestly, he only gets paid once more before the festival and he has given me a list of what he needs, so that'll be another £300, I'll just sell his ps3 to make up the rent money shall I? Men! Hate when the bank account goes dangerously low, makes me scared.

  • Oh wow is me! I've got the dreaded lurgy! I went to bed last night with a headache and then felt sick and then had the shivers and couldn't get warm. I didn't sleep, went from too hot to too cold. The whole of the front of my face ached. Then my eczema started itching. Then I had stomach pains (TOTM). I eventually got up as 6 this morning to take a paracetemol and then fell asleep wrapped up in a quilt on the sofa. I want my mummy!
'is nibs went off to the boat this afternoon to do some work. Will be away for several days. He suggested staying home because I wasn't well, but I assured him it was just a cold (as opposed to man flu). Anyway it gave me an opportunity to catch up on Mistresses this afternoon. Still in my dressing gown but feeling better so I think I'm over the worst.
I had my usual apple/nut mix/cream (which isn't a hundred miles from apple crumble) about 10 this morning, egg mayonnaise and a pear for lunch and not sure what to do now. Not sure I feel up to cooking. Maybe just some olives and cherry toms.
Vegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food. Not following any particular plan.Started 20/1/2009. Weight lost so far 29lbs. Target weight loss 38lb in total.

Aw, sorry you're feeling poorly Gaye!

I got the scales! And they only cost me £4 ish (+ nectar points). I’m happy to have a more accurate result but the weight watchers scales are more impressive - they give you a body fat weight as well as a percentage. Mind you, they cost a lot more… So now I have an accurate reading of 11st 3.8lb.

Did someone have a spreadsheet for keeping track of progress? I could do with one now that I’ve decided to knuckle down!

    Recipes to follow…

    Pizza alternative

Without the crunch I’m afraid, but full of all your favourite pizza flavours and very filling!

    Ingredients (1 portion) –
    1 skinless chicken breast
Squirt of tomato puree with the tiniest splosh of red wine or passata / pasta sauce
    Handful of grated mozzerella
    Dried mixed herbs
    Your choice of toppings

    Method –

Put the chicken breast between 2 large sheets of cling film (or in a large food bag) & bash until flattened.
Carefully peel the flattened breast onto a sheet of tin foil & squidge together any holes that have developed.
Loosen the tomato puree with a splosh of red wine. Add herbs if desired. You could substitute the puree with a few spoonfuls of passata / pasta sauce if you want.

Prepare the toppings. Add them to the sheet of tinfoil alongside the flattened chicken. The chicken cooks really quickly so the “toppings” need to cook from the start.

Whack it under a high grill. Keep an eye on the chicken – it cooks really quickly and may start to burn around the edges if left unattended. Cook on both sides.

When the chicken is cooked, spoon on the tomato sauce & spread over. Put it back under the grill for a few seconds to warm through.

Add the mozzarella thickly to the chicken making sure to completely cover it. Sprinkle with dried herbs.

Grill until melted, bubbly and browned.

Done! Peel away from the tin foil, add the toppings and serve!

Not sure of the carb count, but I’m sure it’s pretty minimal (especially compared to real pizza!)
