She certaintly wouldn't have beat one of the SA's in our large store on Wed am. This SA wiped the shelves of all the Sanctuary goodies. :rolleyes:0 -

It was me that posted this. The Sa's that spoke to me were quite annoyed about it. It sounded like the woman was really bragging to them also which I guess got their backs up.
Terrible thing to see what greed can do to people. I read through that thread and couldn't believe the behaviour some people had witnessed. Someone else said about 2 women with buggies who blocked the aisles with the buggies and 6 baskets to stop people getting to the shelves. One was on the phone and then 2 more of their friends turned up and blocked the other aisle with their buggies and rammed a woman who tried to step over the baskets.
I hope these people who have been greedy find that they can't sell any of it as they have over flooded the market!:T0 -

Olay Lots of gwp on stand(one by pillar opposite olay not one next to it) but have popped loads infront of lee stafford hairdryer sets in the aisle close by so the olay rep does not pounce on people
Pantene Popped last remaining ones by huggies stay dry downstairs
Clearance Not worth looking lol terrible!0 -

Seems like it is going to be a mad scramble for wrapping paper and crackers in the 90% sale. Wonder if the women with the big trolleys will be pushing their way through for that!!!:rotfl:0 -

I hope she's VAT registered then otherwise the taxman would be quite interested in catching up with her
Went into the Boots in Camberley Main Square, but unfortunately alot of the shelves had been cleared out. Still some nice Boots organic sets around, most most of the other stuff left was the usual Christmas tat (apart from some cheap wrapping paper).
Seems that out back they had more of the same aswell (same stuff being wheeled around on trolleys). Think we'll just be waiting to see if any of the previous online sale stuff goes back into the sale (or maybe they'll just wait until 90% time?).
Was quite funny to see in the windows though that all the "75% sale now on" banners had "90% sale now on" on the reverse side

Isn't it annoying how this varies from store to store?
Bristol Cribbs today had loads of No7 stuff reduced and I wanted to buy it with blinkies and cash, but I was told I couldn't use the 250 points with them as they were clearance. Really annoying as I've got several blinkies and several 250 points vouchers, and want to combine them. Sulking now - and wondering what's best to do - free things without points/buy full price things and get points?....probably be no reduced No7 left next time I get to a store now anyway....:rolleyes:0 -
Just back from a quick scouting trip to Waterfields in Watford. Nothing left in the sale and mostly no7 sun stuff reduced (lots of this). But then I went over to the no7 section and found another small reduced display again mostly with suncare stuff. They did have some gold (purse shaped) sets which were previously GWP's selling for £6.50. I picked up 2 to use with my blinkies. No olay GWP's though.
Just opened the gold set and there is a 250 point voucher (expires 27/1/09) when you buy no7 inside. Am I right in thinking it's hit and miss whether they will go through with a Blinkie or not?
A nice SA at Waterfields manually put through my 250 points when I bought 3 reduced No7 aftersun creams, using a blinkie, week before last.0 -
does anyone know if the no7 xmas gift set that has purse with nail varnish,eye liner,lip gloss and something else i think mascara has a points voucher in it?0

It varies SA to SA - so just keep trying different SAs until you find one who will put them in manually!Quote:

hi moneysavingmumofone:) yes, I do remember the chinese wrap GWP. I still have one unopened:D I didn't get any that were going for £1.81 on dotcom. as I wasn't quick enough:rolleyes: however, I got quite a few instore. I think there was some sort of glitch on at the time. I ended up with a few;)
Incidently, I've had a couple of PM's from peeps asking if I can spare some of the spritz I got today. My sister loves this stuff too, as does DD, so the stuff I got today has gone, except for one bottle that I'm keeping. I will however, let the peeps - who sent me a PM know if I find any more. I will have a good look around central london on monday.0
