my no 7 sa said the 250 points voucher doesnt work with reduced items and a blinkie and scanned it to show me, and un-surprisingly it beeped. I think its all luck if you get a sa willing to add them on, or make sure you hand them over 1st !

I got a good deal from the acm, BOGOF on boots multi-tones hair dye, its currently also £1 off so £4.xx for 2 hair dyes. *(its the one where you put an all over colour then add high-lights) very pleased with the results.

Went this afternoon (sat) and basically half a shelf left and the staff were in pulling down all the signs etc for the aisles that had gifts.. they had quite a few Berkeley Square Fig and Cherry gift sets (with a coupon in it for 1.50 off i think) gutted because i wanted the lime and clarysage gift set, and loads of crackers and giftwrap.. they also had some boxes of something that was a shower gel and something else.. 200ml each and had a flannel in it.. didn't make me want to spend any money on it.. they had some barbie bublble bath and other than that everything seemed to be riffled through. This whole sale thing was just rubbish.. had my basket full on wed morning and had planned to finish it off when i got to work and my stupid computer must go back to a server in the states (i work for an american company) because no matter what i did it wouldn't let me go to the UK website.. who knew there was a seperate american boots website..so got nothing!!! ok rant over.. and depression sets back in..

I did however use one of my blinkies today and was able to use it on the number 7 pair of gloves.. They are over with the nail files and brushes and are supposed to be put on after you put some nice lotion on. I thought for almost free why not! They also had the small no7 GWP and i got two.. i did use my blinkies and bought the blusher.. i might try and use my next one on a brush...

and last but not least the clearence section in the back of the store is full of fake tan stuff both no7 and others, dummies and bits of makeup.. I did find a few sale items stuck in the clearence section so worth looking back there.. in slough it is at the very very back of the store on the right.
  • Hi Polls: Thanks for the Admit It gesture, but I only wanted it as a cheer-up gift at £1.25!! But that's very sweet of you.

The book end things have a pink dog one end????? Yes, we do get a good deal here in Greater London for OAPs, but we are paying for it. We have to pay extra on our Council Tax for the Olympics, for 10 years, and goodness knows what else!

But the 2 for 1 meals are all through chains which are nationwide, so go out with your Toy Boy and have a good nosh!!

    xx

I was in Edinburgh Fort this morning and noticed a staff memo up behind the tills saying that staff were to encourage customers to use their blinkies up on the 3-4-2 and clearance No7. There was some sort of reward for the staff member that looged the most blinkies in but even better, when a customer used a blinkie they were allowed a go at the "Lucky Dip" box. This The Lucky Dip box was full of all sorts of old GWP.

So ...I wanted lunch so I bought it, two Pantene sachets and some reduced chewing gum. Got 200 and a few odd points plus Blinkie. Got three Hair Spritzer, paid 88p plus Blinkie. Got GWP as above from Lucky Dip box. (I got a L'Oreal one in a black and gold box, with three skincare samples, lipgloss, eyeliner and foundation samples.) Still have 200 points to spend. So for an overall outlay of £4.00 I got the lunch I was going to buy anyway, chewing gum, two Pantene sachets, three bottles of hair spritzer and a GWP. Not a bad morning of Bootsing, considering I was only in there for three minutes!

As far as I know, Boots only uses Home Delivery Network. If you really did go to the Parcelforce Web site to trace the package, that would be why it isn't working.

Edit: I noted you clicked on the email link, so it should've been the right one. I just do a search for Home Delivery Network and type in the number. Note that the tracking number is different from the Boots order number and is located a few lines below the boots number.

My carrier name is showing as - Parceline and the link takes me to the DPD uk website, is that the same for everyone else? the only number I can see to input is the long parcel ID number, dont know what Im doing wrong!
