mine went through and I bought the no 7 mineral blusher & got GWP, gave blinkie in and 250 point voucher:o

I used both my blinkie and my 250 points voucher on a N7 sunkissed mousse bronzer reduced thingy. Cost me 40p in real cash and both blinkie and voucher went through the till without any problems at all.

Oh, and the bronzer is really nice too!

The Broad Street store had a little bit of gifts left today, but nothing I was looking for. None of the "in-demand" items. There were things like the dog and cat mugs, the accessorize note purses, sets with a computer mouse, a few of those travel radio sets, some trevor sorbie men's sets (the ones with a luggage strap), Mr. Mascara passport sets and lots of gift wrap.

It also had a whole end shelf of cosmetics on clearance for £2. This was back near the photo department facing the center aisle as you walk back toward photo. There were many nail polishes (didn't notice the brand), lipgloss, eyeshadows and mascara. I just assumed these were all Collection 2000 as that's what the eyshadows were, but didn't think to check as I was just interested in the eyeshadow.

There is also a clearance rack near the main checkout (on the side near the ACM machine on the wall) with things like John Frieda hair glaze for 3.xx, tan products of some sort, 17 eyeshadows, and loads of things that I can't recall (wish I would've paid more attention, but none of it really grabbed me). There was a lot of it crammed on those shelves, and they have it so close to the checkout that the lines get in the way of you looking. hth

You need to tick this option - you can activate it by doing the following steps:

User CP (near top of page)

> Edit Options (in first column on left side of page)

> Then, under Thread Display options (part way down the page)

> Show avatars (tick box)

Then Save Changes at bottom of page

As promised an update from FOREGATE STREET, CHESTER.

Lots of empty shelves I'm afraid. :rolleyes: There are however, some Hackett gift sets, some book ends, the cat mugs and a small amount of hot choc mug sets. Also some of those Colour notebooks and matching staplers. Oh yeah and lots of those empty blue cosmetic purse things, are they Accessorise ones? Pretty useless things anyway imo.
Still some Christmas card sets, no wrapping paper left at all though. Oh two plush Father Christmas toys too.
Few of the Mr Mascara passport sets too.


Clearance

There is some Skin Doctors stuff there (but still pretty high prices) and also a SA was putting out some Simple baby sun stuff just as I was leaving. Also lots of Simple stuff in brown boxes..didn't get a close look as she wouldn't move (LOL) presume it was tanning stuff? Or maybe sun cream.
Rows of Nivea sun something or other and some of those Nivea tan wipes at 33p each.
Also some Olay total facial wipes reduced to £2.20..love these, they work well.
Trevor Sorbie root cover up thingies.
There were some No 7 nail varnishes reduced to £1.50 and one of those No 7 birds of paradise eyeshadows but I grabbed those to get rid of a blinkie. They may restock with more reduced No7 cosmetics though as the items I got today were deffo not there when I looked on Wed.

No cheap Herbal Essences in Chester as far as I could see, also no Pantene sachets, or No 7 nail buffer sets.

There are a few bits of No 7 reduced, some on the actual No 7 counter (mainly suncare but some lotions, etc) and also some of the moisturisers on the main shelf facing towards the doors.

Clearance: I was lucky enough to come across some John Frieda hairspray £1 each, a Time Delay Lip plumper £1, and a bottle of Soap & Glory Righteous Butter for a £1!! Was really pleased with the S&G stuff..feels and smells lovely.
Think their clearance was a bit of a one off though, have never seen clearance items in there before.

Hope these updates help someone. It's pretty irritating when you travel somewhere and the shelves are empty of goodies and glitches.
