It has been hard at times this year trying to keep up but it makes it all so worth while when you see how friendly and nice the thread is and how everyone is happy to help everyone else out.
    .

thanks for the new thread CPG:D we all appreciate the amount of work you put in keeping the thread up to date:A and I agree totally with what you said about peeps on here. They are lovely. For example: I couldn't believe how many peeps offered to send broclo JK nail files, when she asked for donations for her charity. (sorry I don't have any otherwise I would have contributed too:o). Here is another example of Peeps generosity: some have offered to send GWPs that scan at 0.00 to those who can't find any - it restores your faith in human nature. It really does:D there are so many other things peeps do for each other on here. The list is endless. I feel really lucky to be part of such a lovely virtual community. You're great:beer:

    long live the boots thread:)

just back from the big store on high street kensington. Wohooo! I found loads (and I mean loads:D )of No7 reductions. I used all my blinkies.

    I got:

2 x No7 cooling after sun FREE with blinkie

4 x No7 really reviving skin spritz (couldn't believe my luck when I found this. I love it:T )28p each after blinkies

No7 rainbow eye pallette FREE with blinkie

N07 natural sunkissed gradual tan FREE with blinkie

They also had No7 trinkets, bird eye shadows, face creams, sun creams etc.

I spotted the MF GWP and Olay GWP too, but I didn't bother with either. HTHS:D

BTW, the 75% off shelves were almost empty. Only rubbish left and not worth listing.

    Hi everyone
would just like to say i love this thread. I have been ill since before Christmas (extreme anaemia) and haven't been able to do much, so I've been reading this thread a lot. It cheered me up! Thank you all.
My first day out since before Christmas was on Wednesday to (guess where!) Boots!!!
I got my hubby to take me in (he thought I was mad) and I managed to get some good things in the sale, though the SA wouldn't let me pay with points. That was a shame as I have quite a lot to spend and it would have helped a lot.
I am useless at the normal glitches etc. Whenever I try I end up spending a fortune, and I haven't the nerve to argue.
I'm in Lincoln, by the way, anyone from my area?
Thanks again for keeping me amused and thanks to all who keep it updated.

There was nothing on the shelves on Thursday morning at 8.30, apart from wrapping paper, by Friday the shelves were beginning to fill up with the summer stock, swimming costumes etc.....

Could i ask you kind Boootsers for some advice. My son is having driving lessons, he is geting himself into such a state before the lesson, i am sure i have read about some ? bachs tablets sold in boots that have a calming effect..any advice is so greatly recieved.

Thank you for the new thread the old one i gave up on, knowimg me i will have missed something really important...lol, and well done broclo for the donations you received, i will collect a few extra things from now on in case you do this very generous thing again. Unfortunatley i used up all my goodies at christmas, a friend volunteered to work in a homeless shelter over christmas so i sent her with some things i had spare.

As far as I know, Boots only uses Home Delivery Network. If you really did go to the Parcelforce Web site to trace the package, that would be why it isn't working.

Edit: I noted you clicked on the email link, so it should've been the right one. I just do a search for Home Delivery Network and type in the number. Note that the tracking number is different from the Boots order number and is located a few lines below the boots number.

I know Boots sometimes use Parcelforce for Saturday only deliveries, or some next day deliveries. But, I know parcelforce track service is more than useless, your item isn't available to track until at least after 6pm on the day of despatch.

For example, I had an order for Game, got the depatch email Thursday morning, but there was no tracking info (and it wouldn't even recognise the tracking number) until around 11pm - so this may be the case when trying to track Boots deliveries with Parcelforce, if its next day, you might not be able to load your tracking info until very late on, or sometimes it may be when you have already got your delivery

I swear by the Bach Rescue Remedy and used it for my driving test and recommended it for others. The 1/2 price night set had some of the pastillies in which are nice but i must admit i dont seem to get the same kind of calm feeling as i do with the spray. HTH P.S Hope he passes.:j
