  • Read earlier about the glosser leaking so opened up the set I had earmarked as a pressie for DIL. Have not used this brand before, shampoo and conditioner seemed OK but glosser was so hard to get out of the packaging that the top snapped off and left the little plastic top bit stuck in the tray. You put the glosser on after the conditioner and leave for 3 minutes, but after I rinsed it off my hair felt really tacky and difficult to comb, started to dry it but in the end decided to give it another rinse and use a Pantene sachet on it - well I do have several! Glosser is now in the bin.

some people are mention this voucher, where its coming from? old loreal GWP?

    TIA

Yes, it was in a gwp, the most recent one I think.
  • I haven't posted for ages, because I've had nothing of use to contribute(!) but have continued to love reading this thread.

Well didn't I leave it way too late to get anything in the 75% sale.......couldn't get into Newcastle until yesterday and even in the main Eldon Square branch the huge section that had all the gift sets etc was closed off (I think the sign said they were putting out the summer stocks). There was virtually nothing left of the sale items downstairs either. I had to cheer myself up with a half price Calvin Klein perfume set and use up some blinkies on reduced No7 body/sun lotions.

The best bargain I've had was in a little Boots this week when I stocked up on reduced vitamins. I got Multibionta x 60 for 1.51 (I think these are usually about 6.50) and they went through as 342 as well. It's worth keeping a check on vitamin prices as there were quite a few others reduced, and all seemed to be 342, but remember to check the best before dates as some were only okay for a few months. HTH.
  • Another of the reduced No7 sets - Ultimate Nails Set - also has a 250 points voucher in it behind the filing/polishing gadget.
  • I am no longer a bootsing virgin

After spending the last 2 weeks reading through and learning i have bought more stuff than i know what to do with lol.

I have never ever used a blinki in my life until i found this site nor have I bought No 7 before and now I feel like i have their range. I bought loads of fake tan for 88p using blinkies yes 88p i cant believe it I have the No 7 GWP little black make up bags ive got 2 of them. these all from oldham.

went to Manchester fort today and they have loads of olay GWP and thought id try my luck my heart was beating wth excitement picked up the cheap wipes and purple box and went to No 7 till and it all went through. I went and got more and went to the chemist counter as by now i had a headache with exxcitement so now i have 2 olay GWP.

No herbal they had all gone but with a family of 7 i have never felt so pampered in my life and im making an effort with myself because i have such nice stuff loving it.

well im off to do my nails

  • The following has just been posted on the Boots 75% discount thread, and it might explain a few things!

I was told by staff at Boots that one woman had told them she travelled 200 miles 1 week before the sale to check stock levels at all Boots in the area, made her list then went to them all and bought loads of stuff to sell on ebay. They said she made about so many trips back to her car to oad it all up it was ridiculous. She also told them that when Protect and Perfect first came out and got scarce, she went around all the Boots within a 200 mile radius and bought as much as she could lay her hands on and sold it on ebay and made £700 profit. She was quite proud to tell them she did it as a business. I think it is plain greedy. Everyone probably buys a few extras and might sell them on but to clear whole shelves and deprive everyone having a fair chance is beyond greedy I think. Really, the managers of each store should have used their sense and limited each item to 3 or 4 person. It's about time Boots organised their sales properly and fairly.

I'm not against people making abit of money but I think they should be decent about it and allow others a chance also.
  • Received one of my orders this afternoon, was really dissapointed, the box was all crushed and dirty and taped up with brown tape to hold it together as the box al wet and soggy! (I was at home and thats how it was handed to me)

Anyway, one of the items a ted baker pink bag had been pierced by something sharp so had a cut mark and dirty marks and most of the other items boxes were really bent and damaged, they would have been no use al all to give as prezzies to other people.

Thanksfully was just things for my own kids who won't bother too much! Anyway I phoned customer services and they refunded me for the make up bag and let me keep it so can use the contents for a hamper and as a gesture of goodwill I got 1000 points!! :j

Thanks to Rubylou88,who was tremendously kind enough to send me an identical
bunny from the same gift pack, bunny and child are now reunited:D:T.

When the parcel arrived this morning,i didn't give it to her straight away, because I was waiting for my OH to get home from work.I told her she had to listen for the doorbell, which kept her busy for an hour.

When OH got home ,we heard the doorbell ring, and voila! There was bunny returned from his travels.
She was so delighted and has been hugging" Rabbit" him ever since-she will just not let him go.

I will post a photo later if i get time (I have a 3 month old baby too,so I am not quite sure when that will be.

I did receive the other bunny from Ebay, but it wasn't the same although it looked similar in the photo.
