  • But neither do people need to spend 4 pages making fun/being nasty.

... and it's ok for the op to impersonate a dv male victim?

    Ouch!! Permission to bully granted.

    How sad.

No one forces anyone to post on here, yourself included. If people are offended et al then they actually don't have to sign in, read or post.

    How simple.

I really hope that it was a wind up. There will be some nagging consciences if we hear on the news tomorrow that some Branston Pickle eating psycho has killed a bloke and his Yorkshire Terrier.

It does raise a valid question though - what WOULD you do if you'd woken up to find our OH looked like they were maybe going to kill you with a pillow???

    Would you:
    a) Go straight to the police.
    b) Not go to the police for fear of if your OH wasn't actually trying to do away with you, but spend the next few days/weeks/months etc. sleeping with one eye open and feeling really paranoid.

I would feel for anyone who found themselves in that position. I would also hope nobody would be so sick as to troll on here with a subject like that. If the OP was a wind-up then he should be ashamed of himself. I would tend to err on the side of caution when replying just in case, but that's just me.

Yes I agree it is very simple, that's generally how bullying works. If you don't like being bullied, or watching other people being bullied, then keep out of our way.

I work in a field with people who are on the receiving end of abusive behaviour and your argument is a common one dished out by the abuser, it's your own fault for being bullied and if you don't like it you know where to go.

Bullying is bullying, in my view it isn't acceptable in any form or for any reason and it amazes me when people try and justify or defend it.

There is no doubt in my mind that this was a very poor taste and unsophisticated piece of trolling.

I also feel that two board guides were culpable here of not closing the thread when they clearly had the opportunity early on in the thread.

Wrong, all I can do on this board is report the thread, have you and MrsE reported all the people posting on this thread?
