Mine go up on 30 Nov, but don't get "switched on" until 1 Dec. I didn't put any decorations outside last year as the year before I'd put 300 tiny string lights on our tree and within 12 hours they'd been cut by the neighbourhood [strike]b*****s[/strike] children  £30 wasted.
I can't put any decs up yet as I need to sort out the house and that will take me at least 2 weeks if not longer!! :rotfl:Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £146.14 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -

WOW!! I like the Garlands they soooo pretty!SHOPPING RULE: ONLY BUY WHAT YOU REALLY NEED0 -
We're leaving our house on the 19th as visiting relatives in Peterborough, Solihull and Nottingham before and for Christmas, so I think I'll put our decorations up a couple of weeks before that. Normally I'd do it much later but it seems daft to if we won't be around!
We got a living tree last year and it's still going strong in our back yard (after some re-potting), so we'll bring that into the living-room0 -
My trees not going up until decemer 1st. As it will be my sons first christmas i will have to enclose it in our playpen as my little man has started crawling and will end up pulling down the tree if it is left exposed.:rotfl:
I am also going to decorate his buggy with some tinsel providing he doesn't attempt to eat it!
I was wanting to put my christmas tree up earlier but i am getting him baptised on 30th november and i thought a christmas tree put up then would get in the way of our after baptism celebrations!
Are you all having real christmas trees or fake ones? I have two fake ones. One is 6 foot tall and the other is about 30cms tall and sings and dances!
