I've put mine up to brighten up the place/get in the festive mood!
It's nice to have the brightness with tinsel/tree lights/garlands etc. longer than the 12 day thingy!
I had a friend that would leave his tree up 365/365!
Merry Christmas!!!!!!0 -

hi all happy xmas lol our decorations always go up on 1st december no matter what day it is its traditional now. the day before i make cookies then on 1st dec we play xmas music while we decorate kitchen living room hall stairs landing and ds bedroom the only rooms that arent done are the bathroom and our bedroom although i do put lights in our bedroom windows to be seen from outside. then once its all done and everythings tidyed up we turn lights on and have hot chocolate and cookies and snuggle under fleece blankets (red of course ) on sofas to watch a xmas movie. ds is 15 now but he still counts down to the 1st of dec he also has a gorgeous porcelain bauble with his name and year of birth on that i bought for his 1st xmas he always hangs that on the tree as the last decoration to go up.:coffee:i find a cup of tea can solve most problems:coffee:
 but alcohol solves them all
