kickboxing is fantastic for getting in shape, ajax, i would totally recommend it. I dropped a dress size but gained a stone. I wish i had time to do it again but it would be stupid. I was looking at a class and OH had to give me a stern talking to as I'm heading for burnout as it is!0

Have been looking for the game simon from the 80's
wanted to buy it for DS as I enjoyed it but seems no one will sell it on the internet apart from good old ebay that sells it for £35 plus:eek: that is a no then:rotfl: :rotfl: must go to the charity shops more see if they have one and roll on the car boot sales to start again:D
Have you tried putting a WANTED ad on Freecycle in your area? It might just remind someone about the one they've got gathering dust in the loft...! I'm really into Freecycle at the moment, and keep looking through the Wanted ads in case someone wants something we're trying to get rid of, and it amuses me to see the kind of things people ask for - this one made me smile: 'Oil filled heater and bunny bits for rescue bunnies'! I wonder what they'd say to a rabbit's foot or tail...

I'll try freecycle thanks ll but I reckon anyone with any sense would hold on to it and sell it for £35 or more on ebay:rolleyes: not doing very well on xmas sorting, still no wii fit, the dress didn't look right, OH thought he wanted an MP3 player but now says no he can't be bothered with all the new technology:rotfl: the Simon game is very over priced (they are running tests on my little one to see if he suffers mild dyslexia and they told me to buy him concentration games and that Simon is one, got Bop it which is another and card games) the eldest one every two minutes is changing his mind so I ignore him:rotfl: :rotfl:0

I am very pleased to report a 2LB loss this week!!! Well done all the other losers and STSs.
Went back to Westfields (in Shepherds Bush in London) today with my parents and sis and had a brill time. Bought two (yes two!) jackets and some jewellery for a Glitz and Glam night out with the Mums. I think all the walking around must have burnt off a good few calories!I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
Did you think I had forgotten about the chart? Sorry, it was a governing body meeting and I've only just got home. What a fantastic set of losses!
Stars of the week ..... Louby28 with 4.5 lbs and Babykat with 8.2lbs --- but I don't think that was a one week loss was it Babykat? Aplologies if I'm wrong.
4 people have already met the target .... only two weeks in! And well done brilliant to Delly who's just hit the one stone mark.0 -
Thanks Grannynise, you really are fab for doing the chart all the time!
And great losses between us all so far, we are GREAT!!!Anytime;)0 -
Thanks for that granny. Long day, barely had time to stuff a pkt of biscuits before dashing out to Quantum of Solace:smileyhea . BB drifts off on fluffy cloud...I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

Does anyone know where I can find an outfit for my best friends wedding?
I've been looking for months and have tried on dozens and look like a sack of spuds in most of them - they truely have looked dreadful and made me feel worse than that.
I'm short but would like a dress (yes despite my username I'm female) as I don't get the chance to wear dresses very often but am a larger size. My budget isn't huge either.
Any ideas would be gratefully received - wedding is mid January in a hotel and I've been asked to do a reading so would like to look and more importantly feel nice.
