Just transferred from LTSB to First Direct (HSBC) and it went instantly and arrived.

When making payments from LTSB you select 'As soon a possible' and send - and a big animated stopwatch clock briefly appears and then an acknowledgement the payment has left.

07.40 Tried sending a payment staight back from FD and the on screen date of arrival is today - but on checking Lloyds again it has not appeared instantly in the same way. They may only be updating credits every hour or so (time will reveal) Update: again checked at 9.40 and credit now appears (so, 'within two hours', as promised)

I would predict the same thing with Natwest/RBS....

I've just completed an online transfer of £18.15 from Lloyds to Natwest. I set up the new payment destination then did the transfer. The amount appeared in NatWest account instantly :j  :rotfl: :T

just tried lloyds to FD and it went through on the FP system straightaway - it didnt work earlier in the week so looks like some progress is being made - by the way FD are on the FP system and have been up and running since it first started as I have transferred to and from them - hopefully the system from lloyds will now work for others - good luck

Still not working from LTSB to FD for me:mad:

I wonder if it's something to do with the LTSB Scottish sortcode.

I click 'Transfers & Payments' click the account to send to, select ASAP, but it still sits there with tomorrow's date on it.

    strange!

I tried transferring £1 from my lloyds account to my mum's, and it took a full day so that combination doesn't work yet either.

LTSB to LTSB should have always been instant - even before Faster Payments.

I still can't get the faster payments to work, but I (for my sins) am a LTSB staff member. I seem to recall that staff accounts were not being included for a while - although i'm not at all sure. Who knows.

It definitely wasn't instant for me - I sent it and it said it would take one day, which it did (I know the first time you send a payment from one LTSB to another it takes up to 4 days, but this wasn't the first time)
