I currently have just over £10k in an Isa with Lloyds TSB earning 1% interest i think it is which is paid once at the end of the year. Hi There Can anyone tell me why A&L Paid interest on my ISA,s on January 1st instead of the end of the finacial year 5th April. My understanding is that ISA,s run from 6th April-5th April. So it appears I have missed out on 3 months interest.

Ok what is better to keep all your money in one pot but have it at a low rate or have several small pots with a better interest rate? i mean even if the interest is low if its a decent amount then the interest balance out doesnt it?

Ok i remember from a previous year when i had a isa and i didnt put anything in it for a year they closed my account and i had to get it reactivated. What happens if i dont continue with my existing isa and open another isa account? will i continue to gain interest from both accounts or just the new one? thanks

Now the new tax year is with us, should I invest my £3,600 today, or wait until 22nd April for the Chancellors 2009 Budget? I'm thinking the investment limits may get raised - possibly to £6,000 for cash isas.
