ISA - Top up or open a new one

Hi Folks - I transferred my ISA to NatWest back in November when they were offering a 2% bonus for a year on transfers. Is now better to top this up or open a new one with a different bank?

Thanks
Tom

It depends - what is your Natwest one currently paying? Are other institutions offering a better rate?

    Hi
    I have just checked and I am getting 2.54% (0.5% plus a %1.76 bonus)
I think I am better off opening a new isa with Barclays, pay the £3600 into this account and transfer the rest of my isa into this as weel.

    Correct?

Barclays Golden ISA doesn't allow transfers in. So you can still open it and deposit £3,600, but you won't be able to transfer that ISA into it.

    Thanks Lokolo,
Anyway, is it better to go with Barclays or choose a provider which allows transfers?

    What are people doing?

OR Can I transfer my existing NatWest ISA to their (NatWest) e-ISA?
