Barclays golden isa

I want to open a Barclays golden isa for my son who works in London. Can I get him to fill and sign the form when he comes to visit and then take them to my local branch? I will open it with my own cheque as I am allowed to give him £3000 per year. Pl is it possible for me to do this, also is it an online account? Not very keen with too may online account. Thanks

Hi there, they (barclays) are not offering paper applications for the Golden ISA.
If your son is an existing Barclays customer then he can open the account online, or by telephone and fund it from one of his existing barclays accounts.
If he a new customer to barclays he will need to contact them 08457 55 5555 and make an appointment to visit a branch with ID, address confirmation and they will do the application there and then.
