    Just tried these https://www.lambertpugh.co.uk got the cheapest quote yet!! Anyone had any dealings with them?

    Hi,

    I tried a few sites aswell as I need conveyancing. What bugs me is that the base price is not the TRUE price as some rip you off on the `loaded` disbursments.

    I agree with mazfg If you get the quote then add up the cost of the extras the cheapest `by far` in most ! cases is https://www.cheapcheapconveyancing.co.uk

    Worth getting a few quotes though in case this changes !

    I used https://www.cheapcheapconveyancing.co.uk aswell last week and they were by far the cheapest and most efficient. You do it all online then you get a call directly from the solicitor. Does what it says on the box - Cheap and cheerful (like the parrots - no bird flue I hope !) I checked out the law society membership of the compnay who called in Yorkshire and they definately kosher...

    Highly recommended to any money saver...

    I would highly recommend https://www.antonyhodari.co.uk. Very efficient and very competitvely priced. We were allocated to one person for whole process. They replied to our e-mailed within the hour, mostly within minutes. Also contactable by phone. Really pleased! :j

    HAVE SIGNED UP WITH https://www.legalmove.com WHO COST £247.00 + VAT FOR PURCHASES UNDER £500,00.
    CONTACTED THEM AND THEY STATED THAT YOU REGISTER ONLINE AND THEN 24 HRS LATER THEY CONTACT YOU WITH A PASSWORD AND SEND A CONVEYANCING PACK OUT TO YOU. PART OF HAMMONDS DIREST WHO ARE APPARENTLY A WELL KNOWN CONVEYANCING FIRM.

    AM GIVING THERSE A WHIRL AS £170 LESS THAN QUOTED ELSE WHERE :T

    Can anyone recommend one of these for a purchase in Scotland? I tried a couple of the mentioned solicitors and was told they don't do Scottish purchases.

    I lived in England and purchased my cottage in Scotland and therefore had to use a Scottish Conveyancer. I used (as mentioned before) Conveyancing Direct who are in Glasgow and they were fantastic! Everything was done by phone/mail and I didn't have to travel to Glasgow which would have been 4 hours away from where I lived in England at the time. Conveyancing Direct in Glasgow were superb and it all went through in 8 weeks and very smoothly. Highly Recommend them.

    Hi,

    If you don't what to be caught out by loaded disbursements and sneaky extras try https://www.conveyancingquotesonline.co.uk - they give an all-inclusive quote (including the land reg fees, searches etc) from the start for any purchase, sale or remortgage in England and Wales. Got a quote from them on a sale and they stuck to it - very cheap and quick responses from them too!

    There seems to be more than one company with this name. See for example:
    http://www.conveyancingdirect.net/index.asp?id=4 which is located in Sussex.

    Some more searching around yields http://www.conveyancingdirect.co.uk - a Glasgow company.

    I'll check them out.

    Hi I am in the process of using Lambert Pugh and so far so good.I have only once been unable to speak to Mr Pugh (he was holiday) so I was put through to Mr Lambert who was extremely helpful.

    They are on most lenders approved conveyancers panel.
