Clothes - Treat or Necessity?

I have limted clothes both for work and home.
I have three blouses and 4 pairs of trousers and 3 pairs of boots which I wear for work.
If your clothes are falling apart then you do need to buy new ones which you have.
Best to put a small amount away each month even if it is £5 so that you buy new underwear and the odd blouse when needed.
That reminds me I have to mend a pair of trousers. Have to drag out my sewing machine. It does save me money honest it has nearly paid for itself all £95 worth:eek:

I think I am going to try and convert to Primark too!!
I have a pair of boots that cost me £8 about 5 years ago and I have had them re-heeled and soled about 3 times. So it has cost me more in repairs then what they cost to buy in the first place.

I hate saying lol, the only reason I said lol is because it won't let me do that :rotfl: thing.

Oooh Primark is brill! Nice soft jumpers for £4 - my boss honestly thought my cream one was from zara and cost £60!
Trousers £5-8 (pinstriped, 3/4, plain, grey and white) - good length too, I'm 5 foot 9!
We're allowed to wear the sleeveless vests under a cardy - they're £2 and the cardy is £4!
(Plus the bra and knicker sets they do for a fiver are nicer than la senza!)0 -

So what's the point of wearing them if nobody notices?lazy&indebt wrote:That could be embarrassing!
Just make yourself a small, discrete sign that you wear deep in your cleavage.

i dunno - just one of those stupid things us women do like plucking all our eyebrows out only to draw them back on, or buy bags that are too small to put anything in, or opning our mouths really wide when applying mascara (what's that all about?!)ZTD wrote:Just make yourself a small, discrete sign that you wear deep in your cleavage.
