Just caught up on all the shenanigans of the last few days and glad that the last creditor accepted your F and F. Debt free at last and hopefully will stay that way.

As you have irregular income I would focus on your emergency fund for now and the bits and pieces you need to do to your house. Most urgent ones first. Also get on to the gov.uk site to get a quote for your state pension so at least you know that is fully funded. Good luck.

Thank you tryingtodobetter, aren't we lucky both living near Dartmoor :) Thanks for popping by my diary :)

Thank you enthusiasticsaver that's good advice.

Yes we need to build up our emergency fund and after that get urgent stuff done to the house, like re-rendering to get rid of damp. I'm also keen to look up how much state pension we will get, so thanks for the link :)

We won't go back into debt because we have no access to credit and don't intend to have any. I've learnt my lesson the hard way :o I intend to save up for things the old fashioned way and buy them with cash :)

Once we've celebrated (frugally) today I'm going to get really focused and make lots of to do lists :D
