You talking about waiting for the letters has made me think of sending a couple of cards to some friends this week. We don't really get nice post any more, do we? Just bills or advertisements, no fun at all.
I think you should have a thread party when the letters arrive. We could all join you. Bring drinks and cake then watch a Terry Wogan style firework display (now this really shows my age). A celebration for all.
Take care, have a good week

Me too pauline, I think I have tea running in my veins instead of blood :rotfl:
I'm sure your friends will appreciate a card. It is rare to get a hand written envelope.

The letters arrived this morning. But...
DH accidentally transferred the money into an old closed account which was still on his online banking system
So the irony is that we have letters now, but not the moneyThe money is in some kind of online limbo land
He rang the bank and they said as the account is closed the money should bounce back within 24 hours
I know I'm over reacting but I feel sick to my stomach. I've been crying all afternoon. We were so cose to being debt free and now it's been snatched away again
I'm worried we won't get the money back in time and we'll miss the deadline the creditor gave usFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I’ve not known it take any more than three working days at the most and that’s when we’ve not been aware straightaway that it’s a closed account. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
