Morning all, I have some ragu with pasta today.

Wrap up warm, it's a tad chilly out there.

    Hello :)
Please could you add me in for this month for 16 days.

Currently on 3/16. This week will be quite easy, as I'm on late shift so I have a big breakfast then just take snacks in with me, but it all counts.

Morning, I missed a day yesterday as I had the day off. I forgot to include that in my total so I've only got 19 days available instead of the full 20.

Lunch today is meatballs and mushrooms in ragu with a little pasta. Made a big pot of it last night so that'll do a few dinners and lunches this week. Also made a pot of Thai Chicken noodle broth which was fantastic so I've got a few portions of it leftover too.
You can have results or excuses, but not both.

That sounds interesting. Do you have a recipe or just bung it all in a pan?

    From memory:

3 chicken breasts cut into strips
3/4 of a pint chicken stock
red chilli sliced (de-seeded) - I'm going to use bird eye chillies next time though
bunch of spring onions finely chopped
    3cm ginger finely sliced
    clove of garlic (minced)
    tsp chilli powder
    tsp cumin
    handful of mangetout
    180g noodles
    salt & pepper to taste

Fry the spring onions, chilli, garlic and ginger for 3 mins in a drizzle of olive oil
add the chicken breast and fry until browned approx. 5 mins
add the stock and then add the remaining ingredients
simmer for 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the noodles are tender

It's quick and easy and very tasty! Stolen from Storm89 and the Savvy Shopper Cookbook

Number 6: 3/11 and oh dear, it seems to be trying to snow again...
