I don't watch the programme but maybe they confused the Jura region of France with the Scottish Island?

    :rotfl:

This is what's on the website although what they sell in the shops doesn't have a blue label.

Is it even possible to grow grapevines that far north in the Hebrides ?

Unless they thought it was somewhere off the coast of CORNWALL :D :rotfl:

Went into my local Aldi today. Car park was nearly full but the shop didn't seem any busier than normal. They were sold out of most of the frozen party food, Camembert, prosecco, double cream & the luxury mince pies in the turquoise box. They had lots of 19p veg though.

Maris Pipers were 19p and BOGOF in our store. Except they forgot to put the BOGOF through. I imagine lots were caught out by this.

There was no sign saying bogoff in our store. At 19p why would they be?

Today in Aldi, all the following are 19p

    Maris piper potatoes
    Carrots
    Parsnips
    Broccoli
    Sprouts
    Swedes
    Little gem lettuce

Lots of lovely soup ingredients there - obviously not the lettuce :rotfl:

Had the specially selected Beef Wellington from Aldi last weekend and wasn't overly impressed with it. The beef was quite tough despite cooking it for minimum recommended time. Plus it was quite a bit smaller than the pastry parcel.

But the creme brûl!e at £1.29 for two were absolutely delicious. As was the small turkey crown. Very succulent with plenty of flavour.
