My favourite thing in Aldi just now is there ss brownies I think there £1.50 for 4 in a pack but lovely.

Lidl my kids love the American shower gel 89p buy one get one free, been stocking up. It smells lovely.

Lidl butter is now 95p, the fancy sea salted now 99p. Yikes.

Don't know if this is national but I was in Lidl today and I noticed they have add Brussel sprouts to the 2 weeks special offers for vegetable. Price 29p.

Aldi Brussells sprouts are 19p in their Super 6

Yes I know.

But this information was for people who only have a Lidl. Not every town has both.

Oh yuk, yuk, yuk!!

Just tried the Lidl, Favorina, Milk Chocolate Almond Florentines and they are disgusting! The nutty/bradysnap biscuity bit is overcooked to the point of being burnt leaving a really horrid aftertaste. £1.79 for 125g and a complete waste of money.

Hope the Aldi ones are going to be better.....

ASDA have their BRUSSELLS SPROUTS (500g) PARSNIPS (500g) and CARROTS (1kg)

ALL at 20p

AND .......

IF you are close to a MORRISONS ....

...then get your CARROTS FREE

They are handing out their bags of WONKY Carrots (usually 41p) for NOWT !

The 19p super six were selling fast in Aldi this morning. My local branch is often out of stock of the specials normally so I do wonder if shoppers going later this week will be disappointed.

My local Lidl is selling the most enormous mangos for 89p each. The size that the other supermarkets would call "giant" and charge twice the price for. They're a long way from ripe though so I can't say how good they are yet ...

Just back from lidl and got carrots, parsnips and sprouts at 19p a pack and then popped into tescos where the caulis were 39p compared to £1.45 in lidl:eek:
