It’s a good start and it’ll keep you busy for while.

I want to buy more of the throws. So I can cover the backs of three of my sofa cushions that have red on them.

I could also decorate a lampshade. If I can find a basic one I like. Yay.

I desperately need to sort out the craft room. It’s staring to look super messy as I’ve just stacked everything in it.

No dramatic progress, but I am chipping away slowly. The cushion covers are still unfinished because I've been on a scrapbooking binge recently. I do find it very slow going though, so it looks like I haven't done a lot. My mum (Bless her!) Used up a few packs of bits when she came up to babysit for me, and I have been making quite a lot with the cricut again (never used the basic shapes, but wish I'd been using it for years!).

On the downside, I have found myself with another huge lot of craft stuff from my mum- most to sell (lots already has bids on), but there were a good few bits I couldn't sell because they were just too nice. And then some half price promarkers fell into my basket when I was buying some dye for work trousers, and then even more promarkers when I was twiddling my thumbs whilst little man was settling in at nursery. They were on my Christmas list, but I really have slipped quite a bit! I have already used up a few bits, but there's still a net gain overall.
    Make £2024 in 2024- £352.54/£2024

I'm back, been 5 years since I was last on here, and STILL trying to reduce the stash!!!

I have got rid of a heck of a lot, but there is still enough left to keep me occupied for at least 10 years. So I'd like to join in again please, and aim for 50 before the end of the year.

(I am currently cutting 2" squares out of scrap fabrics to make a postage stamp quilt).

I haven’t made anything today - I have however managed to unpack 10 boxes. I have one bag already to go to the charity shop and another box being filled. Yay.

I am getting closer to having a sewing room that is usable. Yay.

The sewing room is unpacked and sorted out. Yay.

I have downsized a huge bag of rubbish and more for the sharing shop. My sister may also have ended up with some bits.

So I’m adding another 50. (She’s liberated a lot of stuff).

So I’ve hung two mirrors. (Only four to go). Yay.

I’ve bought a nest of little tables (as well as the varnish and paint to sort them out). Which was a kind of cheat but they are needed.

I've finally managed to make something this week. I made a morsbag yesterday out of an old curtain. Have been busy the rest of the week cutting out 2 1/2 inch squares and sewing them together, so some progress has been made. Going to be a while before any sizeable dent is made in my fabric stash, but at least I've made a start!!

Don't know what happened there.. repeated post of a few days ago! Ignore that one.

It's very quiet on here, where is everyone? Is craftingmad still around?

Used up half a ball of wool yesterday, made a twiddle muff for local hospital for dementia patients.

Yippee, managed to knit another twiddle muff body today, using up approx a third of a ball each of two coloured wools. It's going to take me a while to use up my stash!
