Slightly productive weekend: knitted and decorated another twiddle blanket, which used up some wool, and decorated with buttons, beads, ribbons etc.

And used some fabric in making a couple of scrunchies for a friend.

So another 3 to add

I’ve finished another note book and I have seen up two new bras. The straps were non adjustable and way too long. Not exactly earth shattering but at least I haven’t added to the mending pile for now.

The nest of three tables I’ve varnished the tops of - don’t match. The second lot (two tables) the varnish is more orange and shinier. Boo hiss. I’ll need to figure that out.

I’ve still got loads i need to do - but at least it’s moving in the right direction.

I hope you’ve all been really busy and having fun.

Afraid not....I have started a couple of things, my problem is finishing things!! I'm hoping to get on and get a few bits finished this week to sell at a craft fair later in the month.

Yesterday I finished off three book folded hedgehogs I have made for the craft fair. So used up 3 buttons for noses, 3 pompoms for tails, 6 googly eyes, 3 bits of ribbon, 2 bows and 2 fabric flowers. Not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but at least they're finished!!

Thursday I used up some fabric making a set of bunting to go in a shoebox gift, and also used up various beads, buttons, bows, ribbons and bells on the twiddle blankets for local hospital.

Well, I've just come back from holiday so the only thing I've been using up are Spain's supplies of red wine, manchego and chorizo!

I did succumb to a 100% cotton hanging/tablecloth (destined for a wrap-around skirt) and 2m of very ornate silver-embroidered ribbon (1 m each of pale red and blue) destined for 'ooh, that's pretty!'. I'll think of something.

Finished a scrunchie this morning, so with other bits finished but not listed, my total is now 22/50.

Between the dog cutting his foot open and the child being poorly, I haven't got much done! It doesn't help that I sewed something on wrong to my quilt and now have to unpick it. It's only been waiting two weeks for me to summon the enthusiasm! I am going to crafting live this weekend, I'm taking my mum for her birthday. I only need stamping card, brown card and gray card. Let's see what I come back with!

I hate that, when you see something on wrong and have to unpick it. I have my faithful friend Jack the (seam) Ripper to help though!
