Hi everyone I'm back and raring to go with my stash busting challenge in 2019

The challenge is simple. From 1st January 2019 you are not allowed to buy any new craft supplies until you have used what you have (adhesives or items for orders are allowed) but of course nobody is going to hurt you if you happen to fall off into the dark (or pretty paper) side for a bit

My aim for 2019 is to make 2019 items from my stash

This thread is a great motivation to me and hopefully others so I'd love for you to join me on the journey.

Let me know what your targets are and I'll add you to challenge.

Can't wait to hear how we all get on

I would like to join - I really need to do something about my collection of variously-sized bits of fabric and odd balls of yarn I keep finding. Knowing how slow I am, 50 makes will do to start.

    Hiya

I’d like to set a target of 400 this year. Didn’t manage last years total but am hopeful for this year.

Have already got one to declare. Set off some raspberry gin. We were really slack last year and haven’t made any fruit liqueurs until now although we have a load of spirits and masses of fruit picked. This has been made with some gifted Gordon’s that my mum won in a raffle as she doesn’t drink gin and she knows that I’m usually in the ball at making sloe gin. It’s been there for nearly two years waiting to be used up.

The raspberry gin should only take two weeks to work - I will need to buy a tiny amount of raspberries to add tomorrow or maybe Wednesday as I’m not sure I can face shops tomorrow.

I have a bottle of Hendricks and I’m torn over what to do with it. I only drink fruit gin but it seems a waste...

    Happy new year to all.

Hi all, well I'm off and running towards my total with 13 makes made today. These were 12 beaded angels (5 of them for orders and the rest will sit in my stock ready to sell) and one birthday card for my MIL (whose birthday is tomorrow).

So I'm currently on 13/2019 - such a long way to go but this IS the year I SHALL HIT MY TARGET :)

The gin is still ginning. I added a small amount of raspberries so that did technically cost me £1.33 bit for a bottle of gin I feel the cost was worth it.

I have spent the day printing in loads of old and probably never going to be used paper with my Christmas gifts.

I have made one note book with the cinch I was bought and will make more when the pages I have printed have dried.

    2 / 300.

I love my Cinch nimbo and was using mine today to make a notebook as well :) I also think £1.33 for a bottle of gin is very reasonable :)

I am declaring two more makes towards my total (the said notebook mentioned above) and also a birthday card for my daddy :)

That takes my total up to 15/2019 :)

Can I join in please? I have a large amount of fabric, a couple of pieces are bought for specific projects. and most is left over pieces. I intend on making a dent in my stash, as I am running out of room for any more fabric!

I am going to aim for 30 items. I have a couple of dresses to make and these always take me some time. So I have gone for a lower target.
