Today I was awake early, so made 3 morsbags before I got dressed. Also sewed a button on some trousers, one button from my stash!! Every little helps!!

I’ve made a Christmas star to go on the Christmas tree. I’ve tied on some crystal beads. I did pay 40p for the component parts but I’m pleased with it.

I’ve not had much progress. I did start a laptop case - but my sewing machine just couldn’t handle the leather it was too thick. Boo. I’ll have a go at a denim bag next I think....

I’ve made a sewing bag up - i’ve used an old pair of jeans for the outside. Some scrap fabric for the inside and red leather for the handles.

I’ve then also used the red leather for the outside of a needle case and the same lining fabric as inside for the pages.

And I’ve Made a little red leather box pouch too.

One of my sisters is into the idea of making Christmas gifts and I now think she is sorted. 😁

I’m ordering some little crane sewing scissors to go in it too. Yesterday I was super productive - not just trying but actually making the stuff up (the other day I spent hours and didn’t manage to make a lap top case. Just wasted time and leather).

Wow, you've been busy bimbo!! I don't envy you sewing leather though.

Was away from home Thursday to Sunday, so not much done apart from prepping some hexagons, tacking the fabric onto them.

Good going nimbo, you're very inspiring! I have finished appliquing some circles to a t shirt for my little man's children in need day at nursery. First time I've appliqued, one circle was puckered, but reasonably pleased with it. I've used bondaweb before and got on well with it, but it just wasn't happening this time. Does it go off??

I have cut out the pieces to make a pair of baby dungarees, I will sew those up at some point... who knows when! I really ought to finish the Christmas cards but I think it'll be sewing for a while yet, as I am enjoying it so much!

Sunday was a productive day, made another 10 Christmas cards. Sewing has been on a back burner while I concentrated on cards, I've also written them all and got them ready for posting. A first for me as I usually leave it until the middle of December, no matter how good my intentions! Today I have some birthday cards to make and might even get a bit of sewing done.

Takes my target over 100 now so going to reset to 125.

Cut out my niece's Xmas present ( a princess dress) - ok I bought the material but I had neither satin nor chiffon in my stash. Zip is from stock, and the bodice lining is the offcut from turning a dress into a tunic. Also cut out bag lining and cotton drill to make a phone cover (maybe with a lace overlay, see if I'm feeling brave) - this is all from stash. I may use the remainder of the purple satin to make sleepmasks - a local shop is collecting presents for young girls in hostels over Xmas, thought it may be something useful to be given (and a bit luxurious!)
