So I’ve very nearly finished the dress. Yay. I literally need to hem it.

Yesterday two journals sold - another was kept as a gift by my sister.

So 310 / 400

The dress will be finished today. I think I need to get out today to enjoy some of this sun. I’m trying to avoid spending money - so I don’t know what for.

I’m glad everyone has been busy.

Gosh it's been quiet on here recently! Is everyone busy using up their stash?

I have decorated another 11 twiddle blankets, so that's loads of buttons, beads, bells, ribbons and various other embellishments gone.

Not in the mood for crafting now, got a Christmas jigsaw on the go.

I've been making a lot of things from fabric and selling them at craft fairs along with my hand-painted silk scarves and also set up a monthly craft group so this year I have busted my stash and made 246 items (my aim was for 150!). Still got an awful lot of stash that will easily see me going for at least another 10 years!!!
Is there going to be a 2020 thread?

Nothing from me since the last lot of twiddle blankets. Probably nothing now until the New Year.

I have finished off some cards, but that's it on the crafting front! I have been trying to get organised for Christmas, and generally failing!

I did see some lovely templates for paper pricking on English heritage members area, so I will print hose out after Christmas to get started for next year's cards. I generally enjoy making Christmas cards after Christmas anyway, so a nice one to start off the new year with (and paper used up too!)

Well done emsi, the pricking templates sound interesting. All my Christmas cards this year we're paper pricked ones, so I'd be interested in finding a new template. We're members of English Heritage too so I'll go and have a look.

I'm like you too in that I make my Christmas cards early in the year, when there's no pressure. I did the bulk of them in February this year!

I'm probably not making anything more until after Christmas now, so will wish everyone a Happy Christmas and see you all next year! xx

Not sure if I posted, but I have finished the dress - probably not going to do anything more before New Year , though I'm tempted to make a pair of trousers from some heather- coloured wool fabric I've just re-discovered (Pretty sure I've got the lining material too) - or maybe a half-circle skirt from the pattern given to me by a friend at work. We shall see.

So, didn't manage the 12 I wanted to do, but at least I realised how much fabric I actually have. definitely up for doing this next year!

I’ve managed to finally bottle a load of gin.

5 bottles of raspberry.

7 bottles of sloe.

I’ve finished a dress for Christmas Day.

I’ve washed out another 5 wine bottles for gin. (Little ones). And have recycled a large sweet tub for the sterilising.

21 more to add. Yay.

I doubt I’m going to magically make my target by the end of the year but I’ve made a good old dent. Yay.
