Stash Busting 2019 - I WILL use my mountains of craft stash before buying more!

Well done ponypal, it's hard to let go of things, especially the nice things.
Hope you're feeling better soon nimbo, use the weekend to recuperate! Maybe write some ideas down if you want to do some stash busting in spirit.
I had a lovely time at my craft class. I did get the bundle of goodies, so it looks like I need to crack on and use them up! I do at least need to use the papers and ribbon up, the stamps will be used lots I'm sure as they are lovely. This lady also has a bring your own project night once a month, so I might do that to help focus my stash busting a bit more. And actually get 2 hours of crafting free from interruptions... bliss!Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

I’m now on antibiotics for the face plague. Yay.
I finished another one book at work.
I spent the day yesterday sorting out buttons. I have a bucket and have a load of sets all tied together now. Not exactly a space saver but it filled my day. Haha.
Today I am hoping to be a laundry ninja. The basket is rather full - it’s been a pain because the weather has been crap.
Next on the list is finish a denim basket and some muslin cloths.

Poor you nimbo! Hope the antibiotics help soon. I have resisted the urge to buy lots of new tools and things that I used in my craft class. I have put them on my wish list instead for Christmas. Joining in with all of you is helping to curb my impulsive purchasing!
I found my list of crafting I wanted to get done whilst I was on maternity leave. I have done two things from the list of 15, oops. I have decided to get rid of some of the things I put on there as I don't actually enjoy it all that much, so that's a box of stash busted! I will be doing some scrapbooking once I've cleared the last few half done cards off my desk, and then hopefully that's a few more bits ticked off. I still need to do my wedding and honeymoon scrapbooks, and I've not even thought about those yet...!Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

The face plague is much better after the antibiotics. Yay - I’m still not allowed a kiss though. Boo.
I have finish off another note book at work. And made the equivalent of four notebooks for my work Filofax. It is different coloured dot grid paper. Saves me a fortune.

I have a craft session booked tomorrow. I have no idea what I’m taking with me yet.
I hope everyone is busy and have a good week.

I’ve been to the craft session. Managed to complete a cushion cover for my lap top tray and a small denim basket.
Not masses used up but it’s a strong start. Yay.

I hope the face plague has gone nimbo, and everyone else is well with lots of lovely plans for the bank holiday
I have been very slowly plodding on. It's hard to find the time at the minute! I stamped a whole load of my new stamps out over two nights, then coloured them in another. They're now ready to go onto cards. I slipped up in Aldi and bought a card kit, oops, but the stamped bits can go on these cards. It's supposed to be a full kit, but I think it needs extra stuff to really look finished.
I have finally (!) sewn the last bit on the teething pad!!! We stopped using the sling for a while, but we've started to use it again and I was motivated to get it done. I have seen 2/3 of my dishcloth bag, but it needs seams pressing now. Worst bit about sewing imo. I managed the find the right tensions for the teething pad, but don't think it's quite right for the bag. It's not too far off I don't think, getting to know what it should look like a bit better now.Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

I have managed to sort some mess out still joying made but I have a need for a new peg bag and have located an amazing hanger to make it with...
The face plague has officially gone. Yay.
I have a load of things I’d like to get done.

Hope everyone has been keeping well in this funny old weather.
I have finished the dishcloth bag (hurrah) and it is in use! The reason why my tension looked wrong was I hadn't got the bobbin quite right. Never mind, live and learn. It just looked a little untidy on the inside.
I got a couple of cards made at a craft group (and a night out, woop), some father's day cards done, a couple of half done scrapbooking pages finished off, some cushion covers cut out and I tried out doing some ink blending with some stencils. It worked well, and I am pleased it did because the stencils were expensive and I have hardly used the distressing inks for the actual original purpose. I've got one of the inked designs to go on a father's day card.
Lots of half finished bits to do now. I have the right length zips for the cushion covers now, so I can run those up (material leftover from my living room curtains, 4 years on!), and I have planned out the next 5 scrapbook pages, ready to paper match and write out the journaling.Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Most of the way through the denim footrest thing, just need to finish the bottom and sew it up. It's got rid of some of the old jeans that were hanging about in a carrier bag, might make a picnic rug with the scraps (I saw something on Pinterest to that effect). I have to crack on, though - I rashly promised a baby blanket to a friend who's expecting in September.2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used

Yesterday I managed to cut out a dress and sew a peg bag.
Today I have managed to sew a complete dress. My partner feels it’s not very flattering while off and described it as a sack. Hey ho.
141 / 400. I realise the numbers haven’t gone up masses but I’m quite happy that I’ve learned to sew in sleeves and masses of other things today.
