It's not mandatory, as you might actually want those functions.
Those shown are the recommended settings for when it comes to privacy. Easier to choose as you go along during the install.
But you can go through all of the settings afterwards to enable/disable whatever you wish.0 -

A browser is a personal choice ... I do use Chrome, other are paranoid about Emperor Google becoming omniscient.0
