Couple of low spend days, a packet of headache tablets, and milk, so weekly cash allowance is still fairly healthy

Also had to buy a train ticket for a work journey, but this has been claimed back and authorised so no real expense incurred. This gets paid into a different account, and I divide it between my holiday and car fund. I find that this is an easy way to save a little bit extra without too much pain.

Nothing to Tilly Tidy today as my gas and electricity DDs are round numbers.

Not a lot to report, 75p TT this morning. Finished work for the week not back in until Sunday

Meeting a friend for lunch in Cambridge tomorrow, will try and resist the bookshops.

Had a lovely lunch with friend, it was great to catch up. Season ticket covered the train fare so only spent £15 all day, even managed to ignore the siren call of the bookshops

Expenses have been paid, so £30 moved to holiday fund.

TT of 12p transfered.

Have to go shopping today, as g/f is visiting for the weekend, and I need to make sure that I have something other than cold beers in the fridge :rotfl:

Thanks Tilly, weekend was lovely, tidied up my garden, went out for a meal and just chilled

. Also made my first ever omelette!

98p TT and a spare £5 sent to car fund towards insurance next year.

NSD so nothing to TT, submitted my monthly gas and electricity readings. Hardly any gas used so bill should be tiny, allowing the DD to build up in preparation for the winter.

When I started my MF journey I had it all worked out.3 years

then the unknowns showed up,loss of friday shift(but I kept job longterm),had to rebudget,was off sick 3 weeks.not good when self employed

main thing is not taking on new debt unless its good debt(need a reliable car to from work)

if u don't o/p a few months,no prob,look at your capital reduction end of year

Thanks Black Taxi for dropping by and your encouraging words. I have been sensible with the car purchase, it's economical to run and I got it for a fair price.

Been fairly good this week, only spent what I had to, and I'm continuing to take my lunch to work every day so definitely saving money there.

I've had the mid month slow down, nothing has left my account for days which is good, but it means nothing to Tilly Tidy. Pay day is still a long way off, so I'm trying not to spend anything, been quite good, but as my teachers used to say, could do better :rotfl:
