The long post I made last Thursday confessing to spending over £170 on various things seems to have vanished into the ether.
Still since then I have had a couple of NSDs so hopefully will get to the end of this very long month with a couple of quid in my account, it is going to be very tight though.
Almost my weekend, only one day at work before two days off, hoping to get through that without too much incident, fingers crossed.

Been busy at work, as I'm working odd shifts at the moment. Budget holding up well, even purchased first Christmas present!
It has been confirmed that my pay will be increasing by the princely sum of £10 a month end of November so I have increased my monthly overpayment by £20.
My fixed rate ends in February, so I have been looking at my options, if certain websites are to be believed, my house has gone up £15,000 since I bought it nearly 2 years ago. Nationwide price index is suggesting an £8,000 increase. Either of these will mean my LTV is under 70%. Got to be good news

If anyone reading this has an offset, would you recommend it?
I will be getting a lump sum at some point over the next year of approximately £30000. My original thought was to overpay some or all of it, but then I thought what happens if I need that money, because although my job is as secure as it can be, things happen and being single I need to be able to support myself. If it is offset then I can always get it in an emergency, and it would definitely be for real emergencies only.
The product I've been looking at gives you up to three linked savings accounts, so I could have an additional two for everyday savings. At the moment this seems like a good idea, are there any negatives that I haven't thought about?

Been full on since I last posted. G/f was burgled Thursday afternoon so I have spent time with her helping sort out insurance etc.
Work today was offered as overtime, so I jumped at it. I don't usually get overtime as I work an annual hours contract, but something needed doing so I decided not to turn it down.
Got the rest of the week off, but every day is already booked with something.

Had to TT 20p yesterday first one in ages as I haven't been spending. Payday on Thursday, it has been another long month!

Paid my water bill, think the last one must have been over estimated as this bill was only £18
TT of 82p.
Nearly payday, £6 in cash and £32 left in current account so should make through.

7p TT
Day off, so didn't need to be awake this early, physio later, hopefully last session, as it is not cheap.

50p TT yesterday. Despite it being the weekend, have had 2 NSDs, as g/f and I took a flask of coffee out on our walk rather than buying coffee.
