We picked so many sloes one year that I was able to make sloe gin, sloe vodka, sloe brandy (not that wonderful) and sloe dry martini ;D ;D

I once worked with someone who used to make marrow liqueur. He used to make a long cut lengthwise off the marrow, scoop out the seeds, half fill with any cheap spirit, add brown sugar, put the lid back on and sit the whole thing in a washing up bowl. Then leave it in the airing cupboard for a couple of months.

The tight so-and-so never brought any in though, so I can't vouch for the taste ::)

yes it was on telly so it must be right lol

all the essex girls apparently drink malibu and pineapple and tia maria and coke and its a sign of being common
it was on that series about class, where they said hanging baskets were common as well.

they mustnt sell it anywhere else ???

Im more common than you because I have 8 hanging baskets AND gold taps in the bathroom

apparently that is the epitomy of common-ness

even though they came with the suite and I wasnt going to pay £180 for chrome ones im still common.

I would be trailer trash only we dont have a caravan im too common, so Im tent trash, cos weve got a tent somewhere.

    specially for Sheel

    TIA MARIA

    8 fl oz Water
    6 oz brown sugar
    4 tsp powdered Coffee
    8 fl oz light Rum
    4 tsp Vanilla Extract

Boil water, sugar and coffee for 10 mins and let cool. Add rum and vanilla. Put insterelised bottle and leave for about a week before using.

youd get about 4 bottles tia maria out of the bottle of light rum
