Just applied for this and been accepted.
Card is already showing in amazon account with the 20 credit.

Went ahead with Classic card app-since pending final checks...
Not going to guess what will happen only NewDay experience was with Aqua where an app went from pending to written conf of a card being offfered -though I’ll keep an open mind anyway.

Summery box says minimum of £500. I've never found Newday to be particularly generous with their limits.0 -

My application was referred for the normal Amazon card, I had an email at 9:10 the next morning saying accepted. APR was 24.9% bit high but I don't plan to carry a balance so it doesn't really matter.0 -
Ok, 500 is a decent start limit.
It will be just for petrol and shopping online...
No intention of running a balance0 -
You may get more, do you have any other credit cards?0
-
Yes I have other credit cards.....VANQUIS with a limit of 4K and a barclaycard with a dumb low limit of 750 pounds...been that limit for 5 years.....although I did have some checked credit history.
No debt to speak of ( other than mortgage )
1 x CCJ due to drop off in sep 20180
