Evening all!
I'd love to join this group if possible?
I've unfortunately got to the stage where I can't face looking at myself in the mirror. I will venture on to the dreaded bathroom scales tomorrow morning (I have new batteries to hand!) and start my new healthy lifestyle.
The weight has crept up over the years through limited exercise and bad eating choices (quick take-aways/ready meals and fizzy drinks). I figure I'm about 6 stone above my ideal weight for my height - grim! However I'm determined to change. No more fizzy drinks (I'm on 3 cans a day!) and crisps/biscuits/junk will be replaced with fruit. The junk food cupboard is cleared out and I have no more cans of juice left in the house.
Also - we've decided as a family we're going to do a long walk every evening (we live in the countryside so no excuses!).
Onwards and upwards! I'll post my weight loss next Wednesday morning (presuming I can survive the sugar come down!).

Welcome shiny.
You're not alone I've got a few stone to shift too.
Have you got one of those fruit infuser water bottles? You can experiment with putting pieces of fruit in your water. Some flavour it more than others. A piece of lemon is very refreshing in the weather. My friend like putting a piece of strawberry and kiwi in her bottle. Makes the switch from the fizzy stuff a bit easier than just water.
See you tomorrow :j:j0 -

- 2lb since last Wednesday. Not been quite as active regarding the gardening and outdoor biking that I normally do. The sorting of the compost bins has halted as the rest need more time to decompose and the outdoor bike needed repair. (Just fixed today). The indoor biking was still done. My diet was less calories over the week.
Good Luck ShinyPinkLipgloss.
Thanks fredsnail.

1.2lbs Gain this week.
I'm only 1.6lbs down from my starting weight at the beginning og the year. I'm eating okay and excercising, so getting frustrated not seeing results now.

- 4lbs since last Wednesday. Very unexpected. Exercise and diet seemed about the same. I'm 2lbs less than on Jan 1st this year.0
