Spends today were £4.93 on stamps and £35 on registration fees. Unfortunately I'd forgotten about the fees so hadn't budgeted for them. Used money from the emergency fund but will need to remember this for next year.

Spends on Tuesday were £23.74 on food and a few drinks out with friends. Yesterday was a really spendy day but all my Christmas shopping is now done other than a few stocking fillers for OH - spent £4 on parking, £129.75 on presents and £11.78 on milk, bread, eggs and washing tabs.

We put the Christmas tree last night and it's looking good. Wrapped some presents but need to get more wrapping paper to do the rest.

Paid for a PVG update yesterday for 2nd job which was £18. I also spent £3 on wrapping paper. Most of the presents are now wrapped, just have a few more to do. Today has been a NSD :)

My dad is up this weekend so I popped round to my gran's last night to see them both plus went out for lunch today. Had some rather yummy roast beef. My dad brought up some eggs from the hens which was much appreciated.

Been a really busy few days and struggling to find time to post, however, all presents are now wrapped and posted away. Feel like I've spent a small fortune on postage despite getting my dad to take down a lot of presents. Oh well at least it's done :)

    It's been a NSD today :D

We went round to a friend's last night for a pre-Christmas get together which was lovely. Our contribution was snacks and some fizz so £18.50 spent on this. Got back pretty late so I'm not long up and OH is still in bed.

Today the plan is to tidy the house and do the Christmas food shop, just get everything done so that we can then relax :D

Haven't posted for ages again, still need to do the budget for January, it is unfortunately a reduced budget as I got paid early and have dipped into it

Made my last debt payment of the year and current debt is sitting at £8075.39 down from £10641.15 a year ago :T.

Off to bed now but will do a proper post tomorrow with plans for 2019 :)

    Budget for January - £1489.96
    - £1100 usual bills
    - £150 car
    - £40 debt
    - £50 petrol
    - £15 funds (split £2.50 each to holiday, car, electricity, emergency, clothes and home)
    - £120 food
    - £14.96 food

Have budgeted food very low compared to usual but fridge and freezer are absolutely bursting so hopefully will be able to keep food spends low.

Me and OH have made a list of all the things we'd like to do around the house, some can be done for free, some cheaply and some will require a bit of cash so I've started a home fund, currently with £2.50 in it :rotfl: but will add more when I can.

I'm planning a holiday abroad with my sister this year to visit family so have also got a holiday fund started. First up is to save enough to get a passport.

Debt wise I'd like to pay off all credit card debt and get under 5k :)

Well that's midnight so happy new year to all

Was at work today, possibly the most boring shift ever but at least double time :j and it was a NSD :)

A few more goals for 2019
    - to lose some weight, a year ago I was almost a stone and a half lighter  so would like to get back to that
    - focus more on spending time with OH, family and friends

Went to bed early last night as wasn't feeling great and have woken up this morning full of the cold :( had been planning on going for a run/the gym but definitely will not be attempting that. I may go a wee walk around the park later on this morning to get some fresh air before work.

It will be a NSD today as we don't need anything and I really need to have as many NSDs as possible to avoid going over budget.

Some direct debits have come out and I've rounded down my account - £1.09 to the holiday fund, 50p to the emergency fund and £1.12 to the debt :D
