OMG - life is never easy, is it? Still we always come out stronger in the end and the more we have to work at it, the more we appreciate what we have.

Only 5 weeks left of this year and it's onto New Year, New Hopes and Dreams. Wish you well.

Almost the end of 2017 and good riddance to it.

Well, they say when you think things are at rock bottom the only way is up.
    Here's hoping. :)

We've had a quiet Christmas and now I have picked up a flu bug-despite having a flu jab in November.

    Onto money saving:
This week I have managed to pick up 15 decent sized chicken breast fillets for a tenner,
4 packs of 5 unwaxed lemons for 20p a pack
2 packs of stew pack veg for 20p a pack.
We have an abundance of potatoes that only cost me 50p
Christmas decs are down and in loft.
Half the Christmas cards have been cut into gift tags for next year and the other half are waiting to be done.

I've started on my Christmas savings card for next year, I have a tenner on it. :)

Hoping for a low spend January on the grocery front.
Off to dose myself up with more lemsip/cough mixture and then a cuppa

    :money:No spend weekend.
Today I have sorted fridge out. I made some vegetable soup with a stew pack and some potatoes and a stock cube. Cooked it in slow cooker and blitzed some in the nutribullet. Very nice and healthy and still got enough for 3 more meals I would think. :)
I wrapped carrots in foil and put in fridge.
Potatoes are being stored in a paper bag.
I still have a turnip and some parsnips left and an onion
    Chill night tonight :)
