So. I did have a no spend day today. I had enough on my parking card for the car park- will have to top it up tomorrow though.
Anyone having any issues with sky tv? Ours has just decided it’s not getting a signal for some reason.

Another day, another dollar. I’m going for a no spend day today.
I’ve already got a few sales to post out on Monday-I’ll probably print them off and pack them ready to post tomorrow night.
I made a cash sale on FB for £2 yesterday-but £1 of that has already been earmarked for parking tomorrow. The other £1 is going in my savings pot.
Fingers crossed I’ll make more sales over the weekend. X

My car insurance was due for renewal and for the last couple of years I’ve left it until the last minute and then stayed with who I was with for another year.
This year-in an attempt to save money I got a few quotes.
The cheapest quote I got-that covered what I wanted and more than last year, still saved me a couple of quid a month. So I decided to get the cheaper insurance but without the breakdown cover. So it ended up being £11.50 cheaper a month.
I looked around for breakdown cover and it was going to cost me £9.50 a month for the cover I wanted. I did have mobile phone cover with my contract provider. It was costing £8.50 a month just for the phone insurance.
I’ve never been a fan of paying for a bank account, however, I decided to have a look at what perks they offer with a fee paying bank account. I discovered that I could get phone insurance, breakdown cover and holiday insurance for £13 a month. So, I’ve upgraded my bank account and now I have breakdown cover and phone cover for £13 a month-this is a saving of £5 a month. So I’m pretty impressed to be honest. :money:

So I’ve got up this morning and discovered that the valve covers on one of my radiators are broken. Not sure how it’s happened, my thinking is that it’s either because they’re old or someone has tightened them too much. Fingers crossed I can get replacements from wilko. Then it’s another work day for me.
It won’t be a no spend day but I’m still hoping for a low spend day. :)

Work finished for the day. :)
Today I had a low spend day:
    Parking-£1
    Tea-£1
    Panscrubbers:0.40p
    Plumbers tape:0.50p
    £2.90
They didn’t have radiator valve covers. I’ll look tomorrow when I’ve got more time-hopefully.
