Incorrect I’m afraid. Other lenders are fine with the Resolver Email address as the complaint includes all the relevant personal information.0
-
Unfortunately not.
Many lenders won't work with Resolver due to the inaccuracies and flaws in the system. There's no need for them to use an unreliable third part to forwards messages on.0 -
How many lenders asked you to revert to your registered account Email address?0
-
None.
I go direct if I have a complaint, for the reasons I've already explained above.0 -
Not sure which part of using Resolver you seem to think isn’t going direct to the lender.0
-
All parts of it. You provide the data to Resolver, who then forward it to the lender. It's a middleman.
Except in the cases where they are using the incorrect contact details, in which cases they don't get to the lender at all.0 -
It’s automated, free, instant and indicates when you can escalate the complaint. If complaining to a number of loan providers, it’s very helpful.
Anyway, point of the post, beware of the lenders delaying receiving your complaint. Some are obviously delaying the complaint process with red tape to slow down the reclaim.
Good luck all.0 -

About 5 years ago I got stuck in the Payday Loan's trap. At one point I had about 8 loans on the go, having to roll each one over every month, to pay off each loan.
Unfortunately at same time the company that I was working for decided to reduce our salaries as they were waiting for clients to pay, and said they couldn't afford to pay our full salaries or commission until the money they were owed came in.
This then meant that I was behind on general bills, as well as rent, council tax etc.
When I got behind on paying the Payday Loans, as soon as any money went into my account they would take out what was outstanding to them.
As things got so bad i couldn't pay the loans, and so they were sold to debt recovery companies.
I managed to pay off quite a few of the loans in the end by borrowing money off family, but I still have some of the debts outstanding. I have set up minimal payments to go out each month, so the loans are being paid off, but very very slowly, and are still showing as default on my credit file.
As the loans were sold on, and I have an agreement with the debt management companies, can i still apply to claim back against the payday loan companies that allowed me to keep rolling the debts over without actually checking my circumstances?0
