DFoD - check if your GP surgery will do referral in your area (SWoR) - here in Glos they do and that entitles you to 12 weeks paid for, which is a great start - and that can motivate people to carry on. You need to meet certain criteria, I think, but your practice nurse should be able to tell you those - and it's likely that the receptionist may even know whether the referral scheme is offered locally to you xI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200

Good idea greent, we don't have that in our area so that never crossed my mind.

What a lovely way to describe your workMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Walking a tight rope of despair this morning. Sitting in the waiting area of the Citroën garage waiting to see if my puncture can be repaired for £15 or whether it'll be a new tyre for heaven knows how much. Only £50 in the car repair category on YNAB so I may have to borrow from another category and go without.
What could I forgo? Clothes, barbers? Naked Turkish Massage?
Only joking on the last one......
I'd never give that up :rotfl:

Result!
Puncture was repaired for £10 so that was a surprise. However, it's the second puncture in that tyre since I bought the car 12 months ago. It's a temporary fix I feel. Car has done 16,000 miles so it'll be needing a tyre change soon anyway. Need to get saving as they're not cheap tyre either.
Anyway, been into Bee&Queue to find out about new bathrooms. I'm sick of mine. A decent one fully tiled could be as much as £7,000
At the moment my bath leaks and can't be used. I know though that I've I can only grow my groups and get my bonuses, 4 months and I'd have saved enough, so that is my focus now.
Pay off cc debt I have at the moment
Save for new bathroom.
It's like attacking the mortgage issue from both sides. It'll increase the value of the house and decrease my LTV I hope. Might be a better and quicker way of doing things.
Just rambling thoughts....

Busy day today. I've to sort out changing the signatories on bank accounts
S for an organisation that I've just become Treasurer of. What a nightmare these forms are! Totally incomprehensible!
Money news.....
Everything is progressing nicely. Just waiting for T3sco CC to send me a first statement so I can begin laying off the balance. Get paid on Wednesday (my monthly income) which will be nice and allow me to budget my bills upto 23rd October. Result! Then I'll only be 8 days away from living pay check to pay check on my bills.
