Hi Ali :hello:
I can get ahead of the game to a certain degree but I have two groups which run on a Saturday morning so I don't get their results until they've uploaded. I'm quite organised this month though, and last month end, I set up some spreadsheets which will make this month end easier.
Here's hoping anyway!:o

Afternoon everyone,
Well it's 28th August and I've 3½ days to make £15.67 last on my grocery budget. I've liberated a packet of mince from the freezer and that will form part of tonight's main meal (when I return from my Team Meeting) and possibly lunch tomorrow too. Hitting the frozen veg hard to avoid having to buy any. Think this weekend is going to be very rice/pasta intensive, but just remembered I've got loads of lentils I could use to add bulk to the meals, so I think I might just manage!
YNAB News:
Rejigged my scheduled transactions to direct all cashback income directly to my Pre-YNAB CC debt and sent August's spoils across too, which has resulted in a repayment of £15.49 which I'll make on Monday
Other news
Decided to start using my UW Cashback card again (some great deals available) and discovered to my delight that there's £22.15 still on it from when it was last used!

Just popping in before I go off to run my meeting....
Just updated my Utilities spreadsheet which I use to monitor my usage and I've noticed that as of today, I am in credit on the electricity part of my UW invoice to the tune of £5.11:)
Gas is still in debit to the tune of £73.94 though (although in July I only used 2 units and in August only 4!) I don't think I cook enough!!:laugh:Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

Happy Sunday everyone :A::hello::A:
Just tidying everything up in readiness for the month end.
Noticed rather annoyingly, that with my additions of £10.12 every day to my mortgage account, when Tuesdays payment is made, my balance will be £81,019.71 - I'd have loved to have seen sub £81K, even if only for a day!!
Never mind - in a few months time, it'll be truly sub £81K and that'll be another K knocked off. Then I'll be aiming at the big one. It'll feel amazing when we have a 7 on the front!
What's everyone doing today then? Im tied to my desk doing my month end for SW. Happy days!:rotfl:
Have a good day whatever you do

Another £350 paid across from the business account and sent to September's budget on YNAB.
Two holidays booked for next month, one to a cottage in Cornwall, and the other on the Canal with some friends.
Rang the bells for a wedding yesterday so that's put £30 into the holiday fund too.

Evening all,
I decided to go out to G@l@ bingo tonight with my friends. I'd got £30 in my YNAB budget for bingo after moving some money across from other categories (the £1.50 left over from my haircut, a couple of quid here and there...). It's really good to be able to be money-saving but knowing that, because it's been budgeted for, I can go out for a night such as tonight and not feel guilty about it. So liberating!!!
Anyway, a good night was had by all. We won £160 and because our rule is we split and share, I bagged myself a tidy £32 winnings.:dance::dance:
Total cost of evening with food and a drink was £25.30, so I find myself £6.70 up which I've Tilly-tidied to the CC.
And the £30 is still intact for next time we go_party_
Bingo!!!!!:rotfl:
