    We are now sharing a car, although we still have the camper as backup. I really thought it would be inconvenient, but it has been fine. And encourages us to walk and cycle more, so double benefits. Maybe Mr T would like a bike and trailer? X
    Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
    Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

    Hi Ch4rly, that was one hard slog reading all through my diary but if you’ve picked maybe one tip, then I’m one happy Tilly :)

    Oh AppleMuncher, it’s been comical. I swear his car wants to be sold. It’s broken down twice in one week. Once on a dual carriage way in a major city :eek::eek::eek: Test drive on Wednesday for a Skoda :T

    Just catching up. I am sure you will be awesome. A friend found them to be a lifeline, and I do not exaggerate when I use that word. I have so much respect for them but feel confident you will be an asset.
    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
