What do you make with the gram flour please?

Hmm I don't use it to make tortillas, I make them with normal wheat flour. I use it to make pakoras and thicken curry sauces made with yoghurt.

Well I decided to put the £5.05 change from hubbles pocket into the "car not heap pot" I'm pretty confident we'll come in on budget (she says) so if it's in the pot it won't be spent on carp!!

will update sig in a sec.

and pinto bean & mushroom burger for me.
Is there a recipe around for these please? I'm trying to cut back on red meat (slightly high cholesterol and refusing to take statins) and they sound good.... I even have pinto beans in the house ;)

Had to look up Pakoras - won't make them - don't fry. They do look tasty.

We had HM wedges, honey roast gammon and mushy peas for dinner.

Cake decorating talk - I had a go. No eggs left for my nest cup cake. I was quite pleased for a first attempt.

I made pancakes with gram flour on Shrove Tuesday - a bit heavier than normal pancakes but we used them to make savoury mince pancakes with mushroom sauce and they were lovely and filling.
