I am not sure if they allow you to open a new ISA if you already hold an existing ISA though.

Let's wait and see the terms of the offer when they release it.

I opened a GIA with them for the £100 bonus. My S&S ISA is currently with vanguard, but I am considering stopping contributions for a while so I can save more in cash for a potential property purchase.

I might transfer over to them from vanguard if they off another £100 bonus for ISA's, at least that way I can earn a little more while I am not contributing regularly.

I will keep an eye on this.

The offer runs about 3 times a year but it has only once included GIAs. The most recent offer period ended 30th April and didn't include GIAs.

Anyone know if there is any distributed or accumulated income for the Global Equity Fund and thus whether if you hold it in the General Investment Acciunt they send you a consolidated tax statement each year?

Incase anyone interested, have since found out that the fund share class is Inc not Acc. If there is any income distributed (not always the case) then they provide tax vouchers to investors.

Earlier this year we received just over 1% income on the 'fee-free' units within my son's Junior ISA but no income on the normal units within the GIA and ISA accounts.

Sorry to bump up an old thread - not been the best of performance from the GIA for me but haven't written it off. Wonder how others have performed Vs their other investments.

Also wonder too if they will replicate the GIA offer in six weeks or so.i.e. a year on

Yeah performance has been a bit painful in recent months but their investments are quite different so the ups and downs occur at different times.

Their UK boss gave an interesting interview on YouTube yesterday:

    Some interesting analogies there!

Will keep plugging away on this one - in no rush.

Please keep us in the loop on any news of offer Alex - it is appreciated.
