Hi GG,
Go for it, I am interested in your (if I may be so bold) normal perspective on your retirement plans. I have read one or two posts on the pension forum, and sometimes you have to be an actuary or accountant to understand, so an everyday reality of how you achieve your retirement is something I get Count me in on following your journey!

Hi GG, another GG here :hello:. Fascinating reading so far :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0"Do what others won't early in life so you can do what others can't later in life"0

I've worked in banks and building societies since I was 16, but most of the stuff on the pensions board is way over my head! Also, people are hoping to retire on pensions at a level my salary never reached even at the height of my earning powers:rotfl:
I'm just hoping to have a modestly comfortable life, with a few cruises thrown in.
Thank you for your support, it is much appreciated.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Hello GG, I've had a bit of a lurk on your thread. One of the reasons I referred to my husband as Mr Goldie, rather than Mr GG, was that I didn't want you to think I'd run off with your husband! :rotfl:Early retired - 18th December 2014

We've had a couple of outings, and I've booked a couple of theatre shows for later in the year (Canterbury, not West End)
Canterbury is one of my favourite places in the world
I'm dead glamorous in that 2/3 dream locations are in Kent (there or Broadstairs). If I win the lottery, I'll still have a bob or two left for incidentals :rotfl:0
