Well, according to my calcs: £2,791.53 interest on £20,000 over 5 years works out to be the 2.65% AER advertised.

There must be something wrong with my calculator :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    20000 x 2.79% = 558 x 5 = ;)

    20000 x 2.65% = 530 x 5 = ;)

    . . .
    20,000 x 2.65% = £530 x 1 = the interest get in the first year.

    20,530 x 2.65% = £544 x 1 = the interest you get in the second year
    and so on . . :)

Kazza242, this is a fantastic piece of work but would it be possible to also record if the ISAs are flexible or not?

Thanks. Yes, I have been thinking about adding a new field to indicate whether an ISA is flexible or not. I had already added some info into the notes about this, but a separate field might make it clearer.
    Please call me 'Kazza'.
